I'm a huge, huge fan of Alex. I listen to his music for several hours every day. I love this man. But, as much as I hate to say it, I didn't think this was very good. Still, I am grateful for every video there is of him.

Alex lost focus easily. He was as punk as Johnny Thunders, because he just didn’t give a fuck about his reception. He kept crooning songs in his live repertoire until the end.

I know, right? Could you imagine taking a friend who had never heard of Big Star to this concert? When they start playing "Thirteen" you're like "This is a really great song, listen". And this is the first version they hear of it. 😆 Oh, how I love Alex
