- These soft and fluffy pumpkin pancakes are full of your favorite fall flavors with cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg helping to amp up the pumpkin flavor. You can make them with everyday ingredients you probably have in you pantry and they're beyond easy to make! I'm SO EXCITED to share this recipe with you as it's one of my FAVORITE breakfast treats.

These moist and fluffy pumpkin pancakes are the perfect fall breakfast recipe that you can enjoy all year long! They’re actually my favorite breakfast treat to whip up and I love that you can heat them up the next day and they’re as good as new!

1 1/2 cup of flour
1/4th cup of sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
3/4 tsp of salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp allspice
1 cup milk
1 large egg
2 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup butter
1 cup pumpkin puree
Whisk until fluffy. Butter the pan. Cook on medium to medium low for unspecified amount of time.

You can roast the pumpkin in the oven and smash it after, that’s what I do and it’s really easy!

This recipe is amazing! I just finished making it for the family and we loved it. It is indeed fluffy and extra moist and has a pleasant pumpkin flavor. Also, probably because of the moisture from the pumpkin, this recipe is easy to cook, very forgiving on the griddle. Will definitely make again and recommend for others to make themselves.

i would actually love the video for salt!! I have flakey Maldon salt, fine sea salt, coarse sea salt (for a salt grinder) and table salt (and smoked flakey salt) but have no idea how to substitute that into a recipe which asks for "kosher salt". desperately need your help!

All pure salt, whether mined or dehydrated, is from the sea. Other stuff in it is flavorings, but is not NaCl, salt.

You're so funny. Love you watch you and absolutely love what I can see of your kitchen. Did those knows come on your stove or can you order separately? I used to put syrup on my pancakes when I was younger, then one days it was too sweet and couldn't stand the smell. Now all I use is butter, honey or molasses. Will have to try those pancakes and I agree, Alspice is amazing and I love the smell of alspice, cinnamon and cloves. ❤❤❤❤

Apple crisp pancakes (adding oats to the cake part, then apples/cinnamon like u would add blueberries etc.

Made these this morning, they were amazing! I have made pumpkin pancakes before, but used a separate recipe and the texture just wasn’t there. But with this recipe, it was great! I highly recommend, just be sure not to over-mix your batter!

I love pumpkin pancakes, will have to try this recipe. Also loved your move where you dropped the utensil on the floor and quickly wiped it off on your apron on the way back to the mixing bowl. Yeah, I've done that too. OH, almost forgot - yes, would love a video on salt. I always wonder why so many recipes specify sea salt, or kosher salt. I've always wondered if it makes that much difference.

This is definitely a nice recipe if you have a can of pumpkin puree hanging around the house and you don't feel like making pumpkin pie....Tried the recipe out your way first and got about 20 pancakes out of it... I cut it in half so I would get about 10 to 1 1 pancakes... It's a really weird batter because it doesn't pour... And I really suggest making them to the size of your spatula because they can be a little tricky flipping.... They taste really good... And they don't have that heavy effect on your stomach like regular pancakes... I find that I was eating more than what I would regularly eat with regular pancakes.... I also added some sesame seeds to the batter, which gave it more texture... After I poured the batter into the pan I stuck some blueberries in the cake, then flipped it over and finished cooking it.... I also like to put blueberries in candy yams..... Only whole blueberries though... I don't like the ingredients in the blueberry pie filling.....

Fluffy, soft, and delicious! Thank you so much for this recipe! I added chopped pecans to mine and it was fantastic. I love the variance in texture between the spongy matrix of the pancake and the soft crunch of the nuts, and I'm betting you would too!
I had a bottle of buttermilk left over from when I made John's black forest cake recipe, so I decided to make his buttermilk pancakes recipe. I didn't want to mess up the recipe by adding pumpkin even though 'tis the season, but now I'm out of buttermilk and have a ton of pumpkin puree to use up!
Oh my yummy! Um so used the ingredients without measuring, less organic flour, organic pumpkin puree, but my garden butternut squash would be good baked in the oven first, leftovers, a mixture of organic cane sugar and stevia, and some molasses, very good, very very good, whole family in love.
