    'Ponds done right' means never having to demolish the original mistake. The demo here took an entire day of labor and the heavy machinery; Ouch! But big rocks really make a difference so it is worth the upfront costs. Great work by Atlantis.

    Probably the most clearly explained pond show. Is there any reason you don’t use a bib liner for the intake bay? Is it possible if not confident in seams, to order just one large portion of liner and trim it?

    • @AtlantisWaterGardens
      @AtlantisWaterGardens  3 года назад

      We actually did bob the 1st 6 feet of the intake so the water would draw further back into the intake. You could use 1 large piece but a lot of liner would be wasted. We also used 2 pieces here because the intake turned hard one way and it was easier than having a lot of folds in the liner

      @@AtlantisWaterGardens Thanks for the response, I did note the turn, but you seem to have a trick for most things, so I wasn’t sure.

    It's looking fantastic! I bet you didn't see that coming 🤣
    How often do those seems fail, if ever? The engineering behind the process seems solid with thw two sided tape sandwiched between the liners and the cover tape pinning the topside overlap down but, products can fail and people are imperfect. Even so, I'm betting the percentage has to be super low.

      Yes the cave is working great for them. And yes, cover tape is absolutely necessary for a seam

    I keep hearing "45 mil liner" in your videos? Are you referring to 0.045" or 45 thou ? Because 45 mm is well over 1.5 in thick.

    • @AtlantisWaterGardens
      @AtlantisWaterGardens  2 года назад +1

      It’s .45 mil

    • @blairknight7793
      @blairknight7793 2 года назад

      @@AtlantisWaterGardens most EDPM quality liner is 1.04mm (40 thou) or 1.14mm( 45 thou) for the even better stuff. I've never EDPM in sub 0.5mm liner, thats very thin.
