I always loved the way George sang this song and the harmony was always so catchy. But hearing it isolated like this really amazes me. This is another remarkable job but they all are! Thanks a billion.
the channel is remarkable. very helpful and immensely accurate too. Thank you. Would it be too much to ask to do a tutorial on Every Little Thing? It's not too complicated but I have difficulty discerning the lower vocal line that, I assume, John sings. Anyway - thanks a lot for one of the best beatle relate tutorial channels out there.
It seems George became more indifferent to his singing as John and Paul came to dominate the records. Listening to the early recordings and club performances (1995 Anthology) it was as if George were still in the running for frontman. In songs like this one and "Roll Over Beethoven" he sings at a higher register and with greater power and energy than on later recordings, especially on cover songs. He once said in an interview that to him the best days of The Beatles were before the records and the phenomenal success. I think he was referring to the Hamburg or Tony Sheridan days when he believed they began to achieve true tightness as a band. He said he always felt neglected by Geo. Martin in favor of the other two writers. It was as if once things began to take shape he stood back and accepted his role as John and Paul's journeyman accompanist.Whenever I hear Ringo's first vocal on "Boys" it sounds as if he were competing to be the "Starr" of the band, too.BTW 100 Euros is a bargain. Count me in.
I thought I was a fairly dedicated Beatles fan but I must tell you I don't remember ever hearing this song, in fact I've never even heard of it till now.
This is wonderful, Galeazzo! I just sent you a small donation in gratitude for all of the work you have done for our enlightenment and enjoyment. Buon Natale.
Thank you so much for covering this song! I suggested it a while ago and you said it was a good idea, and I am happy you found the time to do it. Great job, as usual. Thank you again!
Great job ... I would not take on these songs without your videos ... I have a pretty good ear, but I think harmonies can be really tricky to get right with everything else going on in the track. Thanks again !!!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I have been looking forward to it for a long while. Thank you always, Frudua, for your wonderful works and your special ears! Friendship Love from Yokohama.
Galeazzo, first of all, thank you for the fabulous work you've done. You're the go-to guy for anything Beatles. And could you, please, include I Need You by George Harrison? Thank you!!!
Hey Galeazzo! I must tell you that since I saw your videos I found in them Hours of Fun with my friends ! simply an amazing job ! thank you a Lot ! and as a fan a I would like to ask you to make a little tutorial of 'Every little thing' I just love that song ! please greetings from Chile, ciao !
Hello Frudua! Thanks for uploading such greats vids! I have a suggestion about this one. "She´s an angel sent to me" the low part is sang by John and not George. I´ve found this by hearing the bbc version. Bests!
Fruda you should make a patreon account i bet you'll get more donations and get really involved with your fans and community look it up patreon it's way better. And great video love your work as usual
Great tutorial! The last line of each chorus ("She's an angel sent to me") was almost impossible to figure out. I noticed that, like The Beatles, you double-tracked those choruses. My question is ... in your opinion ... were the backing aaahhhs also double-tracked? Was that last line of each chorus double-tracked?
Great Job! I love this song! Probably my favorite song from 'With the Beatles.' There's a song that I really love by the beatles that I can't find out the harmony for. Can you do 'She Said She Said'?
You do it fabulously, like usually! I just want to send you a challenge, do a harmonical cover of "Horse with no name"! Oh and you should do some of the Simon and garfunkel's ones! Nice job by the way!!
Hey Galeazzo Would you be able to teach us how to play Suicide by Paul McCartney because there doesn't seem to be any tutorials for the song anywhere. Thanks in advance!
Did I heard a dog barking in the background? Aaaand serious question: is it me, or Paul changed his singing style in the late 60's? In my opinion, on the later Beatles' albums he sings way lower than on earlier recordings.
He changed his voice a lot throughout the Beatles career. Very early on, he had a thing for Elvis and American singers, so he tried to make his voice sound more American. He started using his higher voice in the Beatlemania days as many of the songs were duets with John or three part harmony. Later in their career, when they weren’t harmonizing like they used to and singing solo more often, he went into the whole deep voice thing, which he couldn’t do early on, because that was John’s role.

3:26 Great job reproducing the vocal reverb. Those early Beatles records were just amazing..
I totally agree :)
Could you do band on the run (the intro part with the harmonies). I know it isn't the Beatles but it's Paul!!
Como se diría en Argentina: " Sos un grande Tano!! ".
Saludos.
Once again very good. Your love for the Beatles is so great . Nice that it gives you !

Did I heard a dog barking in the background?
Aaaand serious question: is it me, or Paul changed his singing style in the late 60's? In my opinion, on the later Beatles' albums he sings way lower than on earlier recordings.
paul just got older, he can't reach the same high notes he used to :)
Well, he was 21 in 1963 and 27 in 1969 - it's not that much :) I think he adopted more "bluesy" singing style in the late 60's.
It's "thrill" not "trill".
I have a suggestion about this one. "She´s an angel sent to me" the low part is sang by John and not George.
