I built one of these when I was a kid and LOVED it. Glad to see you have one running in good condition - I'd love to pick one up again!

Hi Craig , the truck is pretty darn big and back then when they originally were released they appeared to be even bigger. No there not fast but the retro cool 😎 Cheers again

My 1st encounter with the clodbuster was at truck fest in around 1989! There was a rc stall there doing a scale monster jam featuring clods that looked fantastic amd I knew there and then I wanted one. In 1991 my father eventually caved and I became the proud owner of a bullhead

That was a great watch for a Saturday morning, Andy! I totally remember those AA's that just won't sit right, get contact, very frustrating! I never even seen one of these in real life! Back in the 80'ies those were way out of reach for me and my friends, only saw them in the catalogues. Really nice seeing this one, although of course it needs a lot of restoring, I'm sure you'll figure out what you want to do with it. Have a great weekend there, mate!

Hey hey , cheers for watching ! Yeah unfortunately the terminals had corroded slightly in the handset. Well since filming ive moved it on because I wanted a Tamiya cc01 Land Rover Defender, but I’ll buy another clod/bullhead at some point ;) look after yourself and keep up the good work with the videos ;)

Recently got my hands on one (someone's unused xmas present from years ago apparently they couldn't put it together), wanted one since I saw it on mudbusters. I actually had gravedigger back then (still do), but mine was an American release one we bought when we went to diggers dungeon when I was a kid.

Never had an issue with crabbing since I done a durl servo conversion.
But I didn't have a issue with normal set up, so I'd look at the adjustment.

Hi again Andy! My friend, I was getting goosebumps watching this cos it featured both my fave ever vintage radio ( acoms techniplus silver ) and the truly iconic monster truck, the Bullhead! I also really identified with your story about you and your school friend and how he had a much faster awesome hobby grade rc car! I too had a toy grader aged around 11, mine was the Niko Dominator, and my school friend had an awesome Tamiya Escort Cosworth white Tiger Stripe on the TA01 chassis and the speed and coolness of his made me both gutted and absolutely determined to get one for Christmas! Lol. In the end my parents couldn’t afford a cossy so I got a Tamiya Grasshopper 2 out the local paper classified ads ( remember those days! No eBay back then! Lol ) and I absolutely loved that car and went on to own 3 different cossy’s in my middle teens! Wonderful memories my friend! Loved this vid Andy! ( btw, it’s very noticeable that with every video you’re doing, you are growing in confidence and seem more and more relaxed in front of the camera mate! It’s not easy talking to a camera and being confident! It takes time and practice! Well Done my friend! ) 💯🔥👍 Wes, Liverpool UK

Hi Wes thanks for the awesome story and comment , that’s what makes the hobby so cool! Glad it’s noticeable I’m getting more comfortable on camera , I used to radio DJ and obviously no one sees you when your doing that your behind a mic hidden in a studio. Cheers for the awesome support as always mate , take care

Did you sa you got this for 45 quid? If so, that's a bloody good price. I only sold my lads Clodbuster with the same radio you have for 175 18 months ago. Even stock, these are quite quick.

How do, no sorry maybe I didn’t say it clearly , it was £145 or there abouts. I t wasn’t in Eco mode but I think it looked slower because the tyres did need gluing to the rims and when you accelerated the wheel would spin inside the tyre. Many thanks for watching, take care
