He only said it was lightweight and it felt vintage, and that it would be great for studio recording. The guy in front of him said it had no bass and it had beautiful trebles, Paco just looked at him, maybe he agreed but he didn’t say anything. I think he was impressed with the guitar
Paco says that it is 'super light' and that it is 'as if it was old'. Also I believe he says something about the string height being too low for his taste but he would like it for studio
He´s saying about the guitar that the sound is good, specially for studio recording. Good high register and no low disturbance, very light, like an ancient guitar.
los grandes hacen sentir grandes a los que le rodean y es por eso que Paco de Lucia es el mas grande de todos los maestros de la musica y tambien un gran ser humano.
When Erez lived in San Diego, CA, we used to accompany the dance students at "Dance Connection". At one session, back in 2006 or 2007, he brought in the first flamenco guitar he had just built by himself. (I had no idea he was learning to build guitars.) While it felt & played with great ease, it didn't have much sound, as he had already acknowledged. Well, big things have small beginnings, don't they? Erez congratulations! I don't need to wish you luck, for you are above it. Shalom! (בעזרת השם)
It has the sound of a traditional flamenco guitar as the wood and body depth make evident. It's a good guitar. Paco preferred the concert flamenco guitars by Hermanos Conde sobrinos de Esteso. The Conde Hnos. guitar has a cedar top and deeper body.
talmenik07 paco said the guitar sounds like an ancient guitar but almost doesnt weight. He said the guitar sounds very sharp and has no bass at all. I think he did not like it
yeah, you know "a few REAL flamenco techniques", but this man knows, masters, and innovates all the flamenco techniques in the video above, Paco is just having fun with the newly born guitar. However, take a real watch at this vid @ 4:25 /watch?v=IBI7u0MECqU (to see his real techniques).
he also preferred, at least at one stage of his life to play in the studio with a lower action but on stage with a higher action because of the adrenaline. I believe that was something that switched at some point in his life, though. it may be related to this or it may not

well, i suppose he is that dad of the younger guy sitting next to him. look, i dont mean any disrespect. but what he just played i think i could play better. and i only took flamenco lessons like 6 months or so.
Even if you play ten life times in a row and play ten hours a day, you won't be able to play two notes and make it sound like him. Paco is, was, and for ever will be the God of flamenco!
actually i know a few REAL flamenco techniques.... i know rasgueado, golpe and alzapua...so im not such an ignoramus! just because a guy takes some spanish name doesnt automatically make them good at flamenco!
I hope you learned that flamenco is way more than techniques and I hope you now know the importance of Paco de Lucia, besides he was unmatched when he was young ruclips.net/video/5MYaxB7LS7A/видео.html
@@CT2507 Cortes is crazy, but a lot of the reason why we have modern flamenco is because of Paco de Lucia's revolution. There are factors which make him probably the most significant flamenco guitarist of the 20th century and it is because of his influence on flamenco and willingness to experiment with other genres outside of Spain, extend the harmonies of flamenco and get his skill to a level not seen before (compare him to Sabicas, totally different worlds) is why we have players like Rafael today. I should have said unmatched by his contemporaries - it is true that he has been surpassed by modern players, but all of them have a deep respect for Paco because he set the bar way higher for flamenco in his prime years than any other player at that time.
@@CT2507 what I want to say is, there's a clear line of flamenco before and after Paco de Lucia because of his skill and innovation, which is why there is no reason to disrespect him. If you talk about him not being good at flamenco because his skill level wasn't incredible when he got old you're missing the point of what he did for flamenco and how good he played in his prime.
