How has this video not gotten a million likes yet? Fantastic. I love what you’ve done here Robin. It truely is something I’ve never seen done before. And as you’ve said, it’s a selling point if you ever sell your house as someone could set anything up on the other side. I hope you stay in your house for many years, decades even, as I feel Brick Nottingham 2.0 is the coolest thing by far that could reside on the other side of the mirror. Funnily enough I’m planning on adding an underground casino to my city with a speak easy entrance on the other side of a book shelf in a book store. I’m thinking of taking the Birch Books Modular building, doubling the width, making it it full baseplate’s width as well asmaking it deeper so it ends at the back of the baseplate or one or two bricks in from the edge and adding extra stories making it taller.
Ooooohhh now THAT is a fancy doorway for sure! That has to rival any Lego room that's out there at all! A creative and well executed method for sure. And the reveal tease was amusing as well! Feels like the finish line is in sight here!
Now you need to add some poles so you can slide down from upstairs. The poles could be hidden behind a bookcase and a secret button concealed in a bust of Shakespeare, or in your case Robin Hood, just like in the Batman TV show. 🤣
I've always dreamt of having a secret room. I've also dreamt of having an escape tunnel, although it's very unclear why I'd ever have to escape by the tunnel.
okay that is a really cool door! Now I understand why the threshold was so high :P. You need a minature lego room with secret door inside your new lego city too!
Yay the builders are done!! 😃 I guessed about right for the secret door. Making it look like a normal thing but no it’s a cool room, just like in films!!!!👍 Great that Robin is first minifigure who else would it be?!🤔 JJ F
I expect to see a Robin Hood Brick sized LEGO-based silver framed mirror on your desk or somewhere in the new city so that Robin has free reign to come and go... :)
I knew it was a secret door, but wasn't sure what exactly was on the other side to hide the door. Really cool idea and use of a mirror. Let's go Robin get building 😂, jk. You'll get there.
During prohibition it was illegal to brew, transport or sell alcohollic drinks, it was not illegal to buy own or drink them. Speakeasy customers were not breaking the law, but the establishments themselves were, so they had to be hidden.
Hi, I was just thinking about your access holes. While you're in the planning stage, I think you could do something special with them. I think you should build something to "plug" the hole while not in use. Ether with a table that rises up to fill the gap. Or have the gap open up like a trap door. You could cover it with blue baseplate and call them the 4 lakes of brick nottingham. But when you need an access hole. You open the trapdoor/lower the table and you imerge from the middle of the lake. When you have completely finnished an area. You could cap it off by filling that lake with boats as you won't need accsess anymore.
You big tease! I actually leant forward in anticipation when I saw your reflection in the mirror! You deserve far more subscribers as you are easily one of the most entertaining and creative Lego content RUclipsrs out there! Loving the secret door (definitely need a mini version in the city) and I can’t wait to see BrickNottingham2.0 take shape.
Love the secret door very clever use of the mirror and we almost got a face reveal, I always wanted a secret bookcase sadly my hose doesn't have the space, very envious, but you have me thinking where could I put one. Looking forward to when you start moving the lego into the room.
Stunning reveal Sir. Awesome job. I hope you got to see my previous comment about the carpet/with under padding. I was a flooring contractor for1 5 years, when I was much younger. My concern is that, carpet with pad will make it more difficult to level your table surfaces. A commercial tight looped carpet fastened directly to the floor would give you a much more stable surface to build on.
@@RobinHoodBricks ok, I wish I could have mentioned this sooner. Didn’t really think you would be using carpet with pad in that location. I would advise setting up you tables and letting them sit on the carpet for a few days to let it sink into the soft surface. If you have another room, like a bedroom with carpet/pad , lift one of the bed legs and see how far the bed leg has sunk into the carpet, that will give you some idea as to what to expect in the Lego room.
Such a shame... was expecting a Narnia-style wardrobe. Just kidding - it looks absolutely amazing! Can't wait to see the world of lego wonders being created behind the mirror.
You need to hook that door up to a piano that yoh have to play a certain chord to enter. Is this to hide the room from the SSP? And a carpeted room, hope you like dusting!
I had a random thought the other day. I had to take some time off work after a surgery and that gave me way too much time for crazy random thoughts (I’m healing well and back to work by the way). But as I looked at my comparatively small, but satisfying LEGO city it occurred to me that you don’t have the avengers tower in your city, do you? (Unless I’m just blanking on where it is). Anyway, if that’s true I thought after all the incredible work you did to make the “Brick Nottingham Post” a much more interesting build than the Daily Bugle what about the avengers tower? My thought was, are you ready for this? The Robin Hood Tower!!! I know what you’re thinking. How could this random viewer have possibly come up with such a brilliant, some might say genius idea? Well, that’s just a burden I have to carry. Anyway, I kinda doubt I’m the first to think of or even suggest this, but I was thinking of a Marvel superhero versions of Robin and his merry band of misfits. I just want to see this idea actualized and I’m too lazy to do it myself. So I’m passing the burden on to you. Also, I’m very excited to see what you do with this new space.
Glad you are back to health. The reason I don't have an Avengers Tower is that it's unique and in most RUclips cities so I'm technically being different by excluding it. I'm not a marvel fan but I do like the idea of superhero Robin and pals. Could be expensive!
I don’t know why but I pictured you as a jolly plump older man. I’m from the states so your accent (to me) gave me that mental picture. You’re just a tall skinny dude like me. Either way I love the content and this has been a fun ride so far.
That's definitely a door that requires a maniacal laugh as you pass through the threshold!
Muhahahahaaaaa!
0:24 Closest we've ever had to a face reveal!!!
I love the door, looks amazing, such a cool entrance.
That's got to be a RUclips first!
@@RobinHoodBricks You teased it well! It was a body reveal, without a head, so that’s probably a first!

Sounds lovely. Is gambling illegal in your city? Thanks for your comments on the door!

Thanks so much. Yes it's been a long time coming but the finish line is in sight!
Finally! The 35.2k subscriber body reveal! … oh yeh nice door too ;)
Haha, very good. That was the magic number!
Cool. The only thing better would have been a bat pole behind the mirror to slide down into the lego room.
I'll get my drill out!
A secret door, I absolutely love it! It fits in so seamlessly, id love going through that to my own Lego room
It'll make every LEGO session a bit more special!
Well, that door is a fantastic reflection of your creativity! Well done Robin! Mrs. Hood must be pleased😀
She loves it!
Fantastic "reflection" I see what you did there.
Now you need to add some poles so you can slide down from upstairs. The poles could be hidden behind a bookcase and a secret button concealed in a bust of Shakespeare, or in your case Robin Hood, just like in the Batman TV show. 🤣
I'll get on it immediately!
Hi! Looking forward to see your new layout! Very tricky mirror-door! 👍
Yeah it's gonna be great!
0:53 Man, that is so childish and I absolutely f***ing love it! 😍 Amazing! 😀
I've always dreamt of having a secret room. I've also dreamt of having an escape tunnel, although it's very unclear why I'd ever have to escape by the tunnel.
This is what I thought. It's very silly but who else has one? Now we have, haha!
okay that is a really cool door! Now I understand why the threshold was so high :P.
You need a minature lego room with secret door inside your new lego city too!
That's a fun plan!
It’s genius!! You must just smile to yourselves every time you see it. 🎉😂
We both do. It's hilarious!
I'm excited to see how much more stacked and packed the new room will be, and where the old builds will find new homes in the new layout
I think the first job will be just that. Bringing all the old stuff in to new homes!
What a wonderful reveal. Nice way to keep the remainder of the house looking sharp and add a massive bonus to the property.
I agree. It keeps the hobby in a magical spot and the remainder of the house unspoilt by plastic bricks!
Wow 🤩 secret lego room through the mirror 😍😍😍. Love it!
Awesome, huh!
@@RobinHoodBricks yes!😍
that is awsome, but just a British bookcase style was also awsome :) and now a red phone for your emergency LEGO situations :)
Very Batcave!
Robin is growing to have a own a own man-cave !! To the Hood Cave!! Only A projector to make a Hood Signal :)
Haha, good idea!
Hahaha.. a mirror who would have guessed that. Fantastic Robin!
Creativity in real life too!
This is fantastic. It really has come together well.
Thanks so much. I agree!
You are waaaaay more slim than I expected!
Amazing door, love it; whatvare the hinges, I consider to use those at home!
I'm very tall. The hinges are called Multiple Joint Hinges and allow the door to go outward before opening!
How exciting that it is almost done. I love it.
Yay, thank you!
Yay the builders are done!! 😃

That wouldn't work with the subway stations in the standing holes as they're underwater and would be hidden!
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who has the coolest Lego room of them all?
Me me, is it me?!
Nice😸👍 Robin through the looking glass ❤😺🐈👍
A truly magical door!
Awesome some top chippying gone in to hanging that door

Aww thank you. I had hoped the face reveal at 100k would spur growth but no. I'll get building a small silver mirror door!
the secret door is a nice ice breaker for visitors before you let them in to the lego room 😊👍
Builds the excitement a little, doesn't it!
That was so awesome!!! I'd be playing with the door over and over like you as well, haha!
It's so satisfying. Then me and Mrs Hood laugh at our cunning door!
Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who needs more legos to build them all.
Me, me!
I have no words to describe the awesomeness 🔥🔥
Yes indeed. This is how I feel. Although I also know all the pain it took to get here, haha!
You might need to re-name the channel: Robin Bond Bricks! I love the super secret door!! Really pleased for you to finally see your dream come true.
Yay, thank you very much!
Yesss, we had the old era "Robin's adventures in Bricknottingham" now we have "Through the looking glass, and what Robin found there."

Too late I think. Oh well, not to worry as the legs I use are pretty adjustable and LEGO has reasonable tolerance!

Very much so!
Very nice hidden door, hope the carpet comes soon.
Yeah me too. Come on carpet fitters!
Would you be able to put some screen or something over the top of the radiator to prevent bricks dropping into it? The secret door is super cool.
I think there will be a table pushed up to the wall above it so it should be ok!
WOW the walls are amazing
Really happy with it!
😮 that mirror entrance is awesome
We agree. It came out well!
What a great idea!!!
Show me another!
room looks great robin

lol, that mirror is almost like a lego piece itself. So ornate and silver!
But is it Flat Silver or Metallic Silver?!
Ha ha, Not The Face Reveal - you tease!! 😅 Looks great and let's hope the carpet folks do their work quickly. 😁
Yes, I confess I am a bit of a tease. But there was a big reveal!
Oh cool a hidden door, awesome 🤩
So exciting!
yay - speakeasy shout out!! looks/works amazing. Please watch out if Mrs Hood is applying lipstick before you barge in :)
Haha, she was trying on something new there just now. I'll have to be careful recording!
Damnit Robin XD I saw the mirror and I thought NO WAY. I was right lol
Haha, gotcha!
I guess I'm no 120 to say it, but I have to, as all the others: That is indeed a cool door/mirrow/legoroomentrance2.0/silverframe! 😳

I did not expect you to be that lanky; reminds me of Sam's Trains. In a nice way of course.
Yes it's true. Vertically advantaged, haha!
You should do this in the detectives office.
A hidden room for Ace Brickman!

Woo woo woo!
the door will surely move into a house interior in your lego city? how nice it would be if there was a room similar to the real lego room. :)
So it transforms me into a minifigure too!
Awesome! Love it!
So glad!
