I retired last year, so no more bumbling along. People ask what I do now, and I can now tell them that I have become the world's greatest sleeper. Thank you for your artistry.
i feed my kids with tom rosenthal's music. Sometimes they feel calm afterwards. So do I. By the way: I'm a horrible sleeper... Maybe one day i will be a good sleeper. who knows.

As someone who sang Tom Rosenthal to his now 2 year old for the entirety for her life she now rejects Tom Rosenthal for baby shark. I'm hoping to bring it back as she exits the toddler year.

i have been kind of embarresed to listen to your voice after have gone to your concert alone and very drunk and cried my eyes out in the middle of a very kind crowd then kind of had a horrible night getting back home (ended up in the hospital, completely my faul really. alcohol man). i was overwhelmed by listening to you really because your music kind of has acompanied me on and off kind of on these past years of my life, which were really diffucult. i can ramble on and on about how and why, but im just one in millions and we all have our stories.
but today after a weird silent morning alone home, i gathered up some balls and listened to it. and yeah, i cried, im a cry baby i cry a lot. but now in a bit better way. im proud of myself. i survived so much. and im greatful to have music in my life and people creating it and sharing it. thanks for sharing this one. and welcome back. i think im over my shame. and four months sober :)

Hi, Tom! Thank you very much for this song and Efa for the cute video. The song is very calming, but it also sounds like you're tired. Maybe your comment that the last year was not your favorite has something to do with that impression. I know that you've lost a loved one last year. I imagine that being a public person can put a lot of pressure on you. I know that raising kids is a very exhausting task, one that you cannot really take a break from, and one that nobody is thankful for.
It is OK to slow down. Take a break. Do what feels right. Listen to what your body and voices in your head are telling you - it's all important and valid.
I'm just another faceless comment, but I'm here. I listen. I keep you in my thoughts (I hope this does not sound weird). And if I'm totally off the track, then please just ignore :p.

I'm scheduled to retire in 8 years. Every single day my mind is in a constant battle between building an enjoyable future for my wife and children, all the while trying to preserve the goofy, fun dad and husband inside of me. There is so much going on upstairs at any given moment, so the thought of reaching that level of peace glossed the eyeballs while driving to work this morning.
