Absolutely love this amp. I'm using it with Aeon Noires which need a lot of power and this Topping is the only reasonalbly priced amp that delivers that power.
As the DAC I'm using a BTR5 over bluetooth which makes it even more convenient than most brick size DAC Amps that often don't have bluetooth

I have Astell&Kern Kann (1st gen), should I got one? Is it more powerful than Kann’s built in amp? I am using Sennheiser HD 600 with it

Because there is no alteration of the sound from the source, you can add any dac you want and change the sound signature, so might have a cayin ru6 from your phone into your nx7 and that will produce a warm sound, or something like the tanchjim space for a brighter sound, problem with built in dacs your stuck with that sound signature

Not as pure dac as it requires the analog output of the Ka3 and the nx7 has no digital input. However you can still use it and it will work fine.

I did but ideally, you would need to run the RU6 at nearly 100% volume which would drain your phone's battery faster.

Soundstage width will ultimately depend on your earphones/headphones more than anything else. NX7 can do good soundstage with good headphones.

for you maybe, for a lot of people with decend DAPs like my Fiio X5 ii who just wants to use at home but with more power it's stellar. for more portability with phone there is Topping G5 with almost the same power, but also with DAC and double price tho
