I've picked up running since March 23rd, and I wasn't actually engaging in a "challenge" or whatsoever when I first started. I did it because I hated me being so inactive during lockdown. My endurance was so bad on the first day, I ran out of breath after, what, 2 minutes of running or so, but the thought of running for 30mins straight was so exciting to me that I kept pushing myself to run everyday. Fast forward to now, I run around 4km everyday and am aiming for 5km by the end of the month. It's not much, but making progress is what this whole running idea is to me. My plan is obviously very different from yours, but seeing this video makes me feel so relatable and inspired! Thank you!

Hi. Love your inspiring video. I'm 63 an started running a 5k a day, 19 days ago. I am so hungry! It's so hard to stop mindless eating, too. I'm trying to keep it under control. The biggest benefit I am getting from doing this, is my internal sutures from major abdominal surgery (September 2020) has finally stopped hurting me. I feel amazing! It is very hot and humid here, so I don't see a lot of difference in my pace (best time 32:57). Hopefully, it will get better once the weather cools down. I would like to get to a 30 to 29:00 minute 5k. Tomorrow, I plan to start weight training. Perhaps, this will help with my hunger issues and strength, too. Just subscribed!
