- In this video, we share with you what we think may be two of the BEST staterooms for families aboard the CARNIVAL VENEZIA! We sailed during the ship’s 4-night US INAUGURAL CRUISE from our hometown, New York City, and because our family of 4 booked this cruise close to the sail date, there were no rooms for 4 available at the time we booked, so we booked 2 guests in a deluxe ocean view stateroom and 2 guests in a balcony stateroom, and since both rooms had a capacity of 3 guests, and our sons are still fairly small children, we decided that the four of us would stay together in each stateroom. We did just that! What we express in this video are our opinions as of Day 4 of our cruise!

We knew it!!! 😂😂😂 thanks for sharing the differences and explaining the pros and cons. We also try to avoid staying away from the lido deck for the very reason Allan gave.
😂 You guys called it out right away! 😂 Yeah, I hear that. I definitely have my favorite spots on a ship, but it goes out the window sometimes just to get on the ship.

Hey fam! I watched this vlog this morning but had to come back and comment! Loved hearing LJ and AJ’s pros and cons. Gotta hear from the kids sometimes, they bring a different perspective. I wouldn’t have even thought about proximity to the kids club! I knew the balcony would be your fave. You gotta be able to slip away sometimes and that balcony is so convenient. Can’t wait to see which rooms you chose for MAS 2.0!
Also I am shocked that the lido floor was loud, we had the exact opposite experience on the Conquest. But I guess it probably depends on the ship, how it’s built and all of that.😊

@@TeamReeseTravels yeah, for us, being right under the Lido, the biggest issue with noise was from chairs dragging once in a while. Allan talked about hearing music, but I don’t recall hearing Lido music while in our room or on the balcony. We didn’t even hear the sailaway party 🤷🏽♀️. Either way though, it wasn’t unbearable noise, but for those who may want total quiet in their rooms, it’s worth noting.
Hello, this was the perfect video I was looking for since you guys stayed in both rooms on different decks. I am actually in the processing of planning a cruise on this same ship and debating which room to book to minimize seasickness. Which room did you feel the least amount of ship motion/movement, deck 1 or deck 9? I always hear people say the lower the deck and staying in the middle of the ship is the most stable. I would greatly appreciate if you can let me know ASAP because I will be booking my trip later today. Thank you in advance!!!
Thank for watching! Yes, we’d say the lower deck. We’re onboard again right now and are on Deck 2. We haven’t felt much motion. Hope this helps!

Hey Peta. We will be on deck 1 for the first time Rm 1256 and was concerned about noise from possibly the anchor or engine room 🤷🏻♀️. We are literally right by the elevator. We are balcony folks but cruising august 4th on a 9 night so was trying to save a few coins. So seems like 1/2 a dozen of one or another. None of you mentioned noise in the ocean view. It’s a 4- day. Believe we’ll be ok. See you in what, 8 days? 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼. Thanks for your review.

I’m not sure if I was just too tired to hear it, but I didn’t hear noise from the anchor or engine… I don’t think any of the guys woke up prematurely either, so I think it’ll be nice and quiet. Hey, I love that you’re doing a longer cruise in a month! Yes to the balcony for that one, and yes to doing what you had to do to get on the 4-night cruise! I KNOW you’ll be ok! Yes! At the point that I’m reading this it’s now one week away! We’ll be sailing away right about now! 🎉🎉🎉
Does the ocean view have pull down beds?
Hi! 👋🏼 Thanks for watching! The Deluxe Oceanview room we had did not have a pull-down bed... the sofa converted into a bed, and then there was the king bed, which could be separated into twin beds. This is why we had to book a second room because the available Deluxe Oceanview at the time we booked only sleeps 3 guests, and there were 4 of us sailing. Each night, we all slept in one room, anyway, but we had to have two rooms booked to get on the ship. We booked this cruise pretty last-minute, so we took the available option of the Deluxe Oceanview and Balcony and figured we would make it work.
