Hakeem’s bag is better than Embiid’s because of what y’all noticed, the speed of it. Hakeem doesn’t waste time, doesn’t hit any unnecessary motions. Just fake, get open, bucket. That speed difference can help explain why his bag translated so well in the playoffs, like all time level, whereas Embiid’s has really not. @@janmartinez-w1q Chasedown doesn't count, because Defense is a totally different category. Defense doesn't count as "bag", passing does, but the passing is included in the 2018 Lebron stat boost. Lebron's passing has never been as good as 18Lebron so you can't add that in separately. Therefore it remains at 8.5.

I think you may be getting struck with recency bias, it's not like he only handled the ball like that in 2018, prior to 2018 he was still like that it's just 2018 is the most memorable because of his post season run and he didn't really get anything else out of that season, post 2021 lebron has 6.5 but prior to 2019 his bag has been a consistent 8-8.5
those Kobe clips don't do his handles/bag justice those were mostly just tough shots/iconic moments.

I think the difference for bags that are really close in term of style is the speed ,Demar does his bag close in term of style to Kobe ,but he does it slower which results in being worse ,kinda similar with Curry and Kyrie ,most of the time when Curry gets space he shoots a 3 75% of the time ,Kyrie sometimes make's it harder on himself by overdribbling and goes into 2 people to lay it up ,which in tern results in a better highlight/bag .But i would choose curry's bag cuz its like 95% of Kyrie's and in my opinion a more efficient way.

My opinion as someone non-bias and just loves NBA basketball.
KD: 8, because his crazy snatch backs are a majority push-offs, so they dont count in my mind, also the clips they showed are mostly the same exact move, but most of his moves are the same regardless of the highlights shown. But can hit a shot from anywhere.
PG: 9, he does most of the things on the court
LBJ: 10, he has done literally everything you could do on the court, not only handles and dribbling, but the flashy passes and unique movements, can make shots from anywhere and is crazy efficient everywhere within the 3 pt line and even at the 3 during his Heat-2nd Cavs stint days.
Steph: 10, again, can do everything on the court and has next level handles and insane scoops, layups, and fancy 3's, epitome of greatest point guard ever.
Kyrie: 10.5, best handles ever, and can hit any shot on the floor, not much explaination needed.
Stockton: 6.5, he didnt have insane handles, had a few fancy layups in his arsenal, but his passing does bump him up for me.
Hakeem: 8, he got otherworldly foot work and post moves, which are a big part of a bag, and is extremely versitille, but doesnt have the same level of dribble package as the 10's.
Demar: 8.5, he has a great bag, but a lot of his shots are the same spinaround fadeaway, a l o t of his shots. But he does have other tricks in his bag not on the video. Idk why he is being so highly rated, I love his game, but Solz is oding with his takes.
Dame: 9.7, He can do everything on the floor, has exceptional handle, great passing, can hit any shot on the floor, but is just a slight level below someone like Steph. But wayyyyy bigger bag than Demar, its not even close. Idk why he is so underrated, dude is fucking elite. Also Dames handles are wayyyy closer to Kyrie than Demars are..
Kobe: 10, he has the handles, has the post moves, has the layup package, can hit a shot anywhere, i dont think this needs much explanation.
Melo: 8.5, his post game is elite and is deadly anywhere witihin the 3 pt line, has decent handle, but his post game and tough shot-making is hard carrying. (Dame does have a much deeper bag than Melo, im sorry)
Joel: 7.9, similar to Hakeem but not as good in the post, can dribble decently, but does not have a deep bag, mostly at the basket easy shots and an occasional midrange and 3 pt, but no where near elite, especially compared to the other players here.
Jokic (if he was here) 9.5, He can hit a shot from anywhere, extremely efficiently, has great ball handling with extremely low turnovers, has crazy flashy passes, Hakeem level foot work, he is who Embiid wants to be, but Embiid wont ever get there.
