Sir, maine lotus plant seed se 2-3 baar lagaya leaves bhi acche se grow ho jati h but kuch time baad khrab hone lagti h leaves bhi. Or agar kisi soil m transfer krte h to kuch time baad usme rotten smell aati h soil mai black ho jati h puri

I have one question, recently my lotus pond facing fungus problem. I have found trichoderma in online,saying that they can kill fungus. Can I use trichoderma or any other fungicide?

Last year maine lockdown me lagya tha lotus ..seed se lagya tha aur abhi usme dher sare Ariel leaf h ,ek bar repot kiya tha kyuki uske kuch tuber sade huye the, ..abhi tak usme flowering nhi aai h..15 days pe npk bhi use kr rha hu fhir bhi ... Plant nd pond dono hi saf hai. Pani bhi change krta rhta hu .to pblm kaha h jo flowering nhi ho rha ??

Actully this is resting time for lotus and water plants... so one should not disturb lotus rhyzome... but u hv already repotted then fine , your lotus tub must be filled with water all the time and direct sun light must... Actully lotus do not show new growth in this time so it becomes very risky to judge after repotting that rhyzomes are ok or routed...
But if you have not broken any rhyzome then dont worry.... let it be in ist way... and hope for the new growth....

I've a question, it's been almost 1 and half month I planted Lotus, weather is still hot but lotus leaves are turning black and also breaking. What should I do?
If some of the leaves are turning black then its fine.
Buy if almost all of the leaves are turning black then there is 2 possibilities
One with water
Other with soil
Causes :
1. If you have added liquid fertilizer without having aerial leaves
2. Your soil contains biomass which is not fully decomposed
I think you should first change the water of your container.
Based on the results you may have to repot it
@@buddydots7735 Thank you for replying. I've changed water several times, at first leaves are fine but after 2 3 days, they start turning black. I think biomass is the problem. What kind of soil and materials should I use for repotting?
@@farwairfan112 normal garden soil which has clay in it will do just fine. First make your soil completely dry then filter it using flour filter or you csn filter is by hand as well. The goal is to remove stones, pebbles, metals and organic matter like leaves 🍂, wooden chips, roots, seeds etc. Once the soil is filtered then take a tub(or wherever u want to plant it) fill it with soil you have prepared and add water so that soil is completely wet. Leave it for few hours or for a day.
Now clean your lotus plant carefully, remove and rotten/half rottenleaves and algae. Now plant it in the tub you have prepared.
Remember that you are trying to revive a plant 🌱, so don't use any fertilizer in this process.
On important note: try adding Duckweed/water lettuce to your tub, they help you to maintain water quality
