- Thanks for watching! I design and manufacture electronic music equipment for Rare Waves LLC (rarewaves.net). Please check out the fun and interesting synth DIY kits I have developed: Rare Waves Hydronium CV-Gate/MIDI monosynth, Lite2Sound photodiode amplifiers, Tune in Tokyo sound effect synthesizers.

The first circuit I have made 1 year ago when I have started to build my modular synth. Noise from an old fm radio + VC-LPF = windy-ufo-funny-noises. Thanks for your nice circuits! Best builder EVER!
Thanks for sharing, this is awesome! Will try to fit into my newly home-built euro rack system.
thank you for your manual, looks great ! will do my best to achieve it :)
Very nice sounding VCF!
Been looking for low voltage VCFs that have the ability to get into the grimy sounding resonance.
Haven't had much luck until now!
Definitely building this right away.!!!
Cheers for sharing bud.
thanks for this, been looking for a simple audio low-pass for aaaages!
Thank you som much. I did it and worked !
i'm going to end up building everything on your website haha
thank you so much for doing this stuff
nice filter
sick werk!
Klingt gut,Danke !!!!
@Desmaad yes, please visit the project URL in the video description. the Project Plans PDF is linked therein, a 13 page document with schematic, BOM, wiring diagrams...
Estupendo trabajo ! Good ork ! ... and LIKE =)
Hello! This little thing sounds great! :) Could you re-upload your PDF with schematics, BOM and etc.?
what shall i do to use this with 12v power for modular synth?
where can i get a schematic? Thanks :)
Where did you source your parts for this? Digikey? Mouser? other?
Fun!
Could you pass some drums loops through this. It's sound pretty good and has a juicy sound.
It's possible to modify It into a high pass filter?
I REALLY like your finger.
are these pots linear or logarithmic ?
Can I work with 7.5v dc?
Hi! Could you give schematic, please... your link doesn't work.
I'm very interested to build this analog filter...
Sorry for my langage, I don't speak english very well ;)

It a nice project man. I've been looking for months for a res-filter to build. But I can't find the link. Looks like there is nothing in the video description.
+Arne Vyt Found it here: drive.google.com/file/d/0Bzxodk3UiKRgaHYtd01Fc1M4TVk/edit?pageId=115490331245703315586
For those looking for the schematic, just google "DIY Analog VC-LPF" as written on the video :)
+Vincent Becker nice one, been waiting to build this one :)
Or just post a link

Excelente filtro, parece bem tranquilo reproduzi-lo. Obrigado por compartilhar, saudações do Brasil
thank you
fun thumb XD
If I wanted to make one of these but with steps between random cutoff frequencies, how would I integrate something like that into this?
It's voltage controlled, so you could just make a simple sequencer like a baby ten and sequence the cv input of the filter. The steps wouldn't be random, though, you would control them. If you really want random, I'm sure you could come up with a fairly simple quasi-random voltage generator with cmos chips, Google it.
I found this- www.google.com.ua/amp/s/acidbourbon.wordpress.com/2015/02/07/clocked-8-bit-random-pattern-generator-for-cmos-synth/amp/
Could you point us to a schematic?
What about de Darlington transistors in the schematic??
Look at the LM13700 datasheet. They are integrated into the package.
Hello Does this work in STEREO JACK ?
Is there any chance that you can pass me the schematic through my mail or upload it to another page? Tha page in the description doesn´t work and I don´t find any home button.
yes please !
In the link put on the search box 'lpf' ad follow the instructions
where do you connect the CV? the schematic says connect cv here, but then dosn't say where
Add CV inputs by connecting additional resistors to base of Q2. Example: R22=10k is a CV input for the FREQ pot. Add more resistors by analogy to R22 for more CV inputs.
is great, but the link to the diagram is wrong :-(
click 'home' and there is a post with updated links to all schematics
Is there a schematic for this? Thanks...

Where did you get this?
Is it the one from "Pete"?
It looks it is anyway.
Could this be built into a bass guitar?
Did you find out? wanna build it for my bass.
Now if we just put an lfo to the filter 😃
Resonace almost does nothing :- ) great anyway!!
that's not true at all. check the frequency sweeps before and after all resonance adjustments. the presence (or absence) of the peak is very audible.
Great that your website is down :(
no schematic link! weak sauce
NVM it's up :D
