They still only "properly" fit a 28mm bar, right? So if you have a 32mm chinup bar then there will be a wedge shaped gap in the rubber grips? I've looked for a 32mm inner diameter version but haven't found any.
They don't close 100% even on a 28mm bar. If they made them with that tight of a tolerance, you run the risk of them not staying in place. I've never had an issue with my 33mm dumbbell handles or my 29mm barbells. You just position the gap where it doesn't bother you.
I am going to try these. I cut 3 tendons in my fingers and struggle gripping dumbbells. I was using a piece of foam pipe insulation, but Fat Gripz look more like what I need.
Bought mine today going to use them on most exercises exception would be dumbbell shoulder press .I’ll try them but with that exercise it seems to me the concentration wouldn’t be there because of the weight is over head and fat grips potentially shifting .we’ll see.
@@deansaylor9164 Good concern, but no worries on overhead pressing. Just make sure the "seam" is facing up and you'll be just fine. I use mine on barbell military presses all the time and they work great! Lemme know how you like them.
@@stille_ I don't think so, but I don't own a 25mm barbell to test them on for you. I'd check with Fat Gripz directly. I've sent them questions before and they do respond within a day or two.
If your goal is improved grip strength and arm strength, then for sure. They are not so big that smaller hands can't use them. If those aren't your goals, then I would skip them.
I would love that, but I am trying sooooo hard not to buy too much gear! I've failed pretty badly at that already, but I gotta draw the line somewhere!
Have you ever tried using them in the center of rhe bar as a cushion for hip thrusters when rhe bar is in your lap? I'm debating on getting an axle bar for hip thrusters but this might be a good alternative. Thanks!
They would not make good pads for that. I use a foam pad that works pretty well. AbMat also makes a pad specifically for that, The fat gripz aren't wide enough or soft enough to work for hip thrusts.
I've had them for years and just now started using them for my pressing movements. These really make every lift better
Glad you like them!

very nice video. I was doubting if i get them or not but now i am pretty convinced. Thanks a lot. Happy thanksgiving
Awesome! Enjoy, I use mine almost every day for something. Been using them a ton as handles for band work too.
THANKS DUDE!! Will be buying them for the reasons you stated!

Ouch! Hope these help!
I ordered a set this morning as my left elbow was starting to get a little sore. Thanks for this video, great info!
Hope they help!
@@GymCrafter fingers crossed 🤞!

Sir are you okay? You haven’t posted a video lately. Just wanted to check on ya and make sure you were good. Really enjoy your videos. :)
All good, thanks for asking! I needed to take a step back for a while. Will be posting again in the next couple of months, though.
So they don't fit on adjustable dumbbells ? Or just certain ones ?
They don't fit on PowerBlocks because of the cage that goes around the handles.
My iron masterMy iron master dumbells are pretty thick already but I’m going to try them
Nice review. I will be buying them.
Enjoy! I just bought a second set of their smaller diameter grips and use both sizes all the time.
Do they suit on every bar so on a 25 mm bar too ?
They will fit, but they won't be as tight as on a thicker bar.
@@GymCrafter so will the move while using it

@@GymCrafter where can i chat with them
@@stille_ Same way you would reach out to any manufacturer, find the contact information on their website.
if you have smaller hands are they worth buying

U never tried those? Cause when i looking at your physic im not sure at all..
I have no idea what you are saying.
I throw the fat gripz on everything 💪🏻💪🏻
They're the best! I use them literally every day for something.
Same ! I use them for arms , shoulders and chest exercises. Waaaay better than gloves or hand pads
That's what she said lol.
U could also try an axel barbell. They are fat by design
