('Poder' can also START a sentence that ends with the subjunctive mode in its meaning of 'may'. Eg., Puede que no llegue temprano. (I may not arrive early). 'Poderse' is similarly used to indicate possibility).

Thanks. That comes later. The first bit is just to familiarise learners with the new language. Go to the bit after the Pyramid practice.
Why not present the English phrase before the spanish phrase if learning spanish?
