I love it when bands play whole albums live. Although, it's not as awesome if they do it all the time. I mean, maybe a few times in a tour, but, not every show. I don't know how often they did this though.
Thank you. I am an old Tool fan, going back to their first EP (ha, lol). I tried very hard to never find out what he looked like. I like to think of him as something ethereal and other worldly. This man is a true genius.
Maynard wouldn't be able to do what he does without the band, to clear peoples minds of him being the center of attention. It takes a singer, songwriter, and drummer to make a band. Maynard is the focus of attention because he is so good but the melodys from the guitarists also add to the emotions Maynard has in the lyrics. Without the ingredients, their wouldn't be a Maynard. He's epic, but A Perfect Circle is EPIC. A Great combination for today's society to look up on, as far a music goes.
FREEZE IS BRILLIANT BUT I still love DANNY better. Different bands need different drummers, they both are animals, Danny has a Bonham feel for me which had a big impact on my music forming years. That off signature is so dope, not many can do it well, there are a few but Danny is # 1 in my book. But I'm happy if you find something that moves you in any music. Music is a healer and a necessity in exspressing love or good vibes. Hey, enjoy yourself, who knows what tomorrow brings. 2020 has been a butt kicker on so many levels. Let's all pray 2021 is better, we can hope and dream, stay positive. God bless you all abundantly. Stay safe and well, sorry a little long, guess I had something on my mind or heart.
I fucking love Billy's energy from the go! He knows when to let loose! He was the same even in 2018, both times. Such a great pleasure and honor to see them live. Wish I had been a fan sooner to have seen them around this time. I would've had to have been a bit older to have seen them in the early 2000s unless someone took me. Never was gonna happen lol. Not with the music those around me listened to.
Thanks for the upload of this...I saw Tool in Charlotte,NC in Febuary of this year and it was amazing!!!Maynard is sooo talented and I can't wait to see them again(:
Some of these comments are old this video is old, Who knew, Maynard’s masterpieces were gonna be in three different flavors., get us hooked to his beautiful music. Love the man
he's not the center of attention, he's just the most loved. people who like apc are well aware of the instrumentals and songwriting and the fact that they're a super-group that the likes of Josh Freese, James Iha, and others have been a part of
Man! I'm gonna say 2 things: 1.-What a f4cking and Great audio's quality, and 2.-Keep going with the uploading of concerts of APC and Tool, please Regards from Chile! =)
I agree with you. The more he winded down and moved to his own projects, I feel the more distant he got from his music. Sometimes it feels like he's not trying. Other times it sounds like he's trying too hard. It's just not the same to him.
Live performances aren't supposed to be a replication of the CD; music has long since moved past that. APC are great live, and this sounds and looks like a great show.
Hes definately the Center of attention and the other people that "like" APC among all the people I've talked to always comment about Maynard. Ask anyone what the guitarists names are or drummers and I bet they would be like I don't know. So yes he is the center of attention.
Not sure why you replied to me... Maybe you're not understanding me. He clearly APOLOGIZES for fucking the lyrics up after The Outsider. I know concerts are supposed to have improv, but improvisation is much different than fucking up and forgetting lyrics (they haven't played in 6 years it's OKAY.) The person I replied to said the live performance was perfect and sounds like the CD. Not entirely. The Outsider starts at 29:30 and Maynard ends with an explanation at 33:35,
The Package Weak and Powerless The Noose Blue Vanishing A Stranger The Outsider Crimes The Nurse Who Loved Me (Failure cover) Pet Lullaby Gravity Encore: 3 Libras (All Main Courses Mix) Imagine
He's openly stated before that some things aren't the same for him. This would adversely affect the music. Calm down bro. I'm not saying it ain't just this time where he's off tilt. It happens yeah, but I'm just saying as a general statement, it's similar in a few other concerts. I'm just guessin as to why.
Testing a comment due to apparently being shadowbanned. Making sure to make it long because short ones go through. Sorry if you see this. Im just taking a moment to try to fix something.
Dang. Maynard sounds great but he screws the lyrics and/or the rhythm of the lyrics a looooooot. Josh Freese is spot on the whole time. I love that guy.
I love Matt McJunkin. Nicest guy, gives bass lessons on zoom on off days. How sweet is day? I love APC Maynard does screw the lyrics a few times. I still loved it. Thanks man. Most cool of you.
This album is a masterpiece.

You commented this 10 years ago?, Maynard is an example of how a man should be.
I watched their drummer probably 80% of the time when i saw them live cuz he is such a beast
He is insane. One of the best around right now . IMO, God bless, stay strong and well. 👏👏👏🙏❤🙏🌎🙏🕊
freese is amazing!

Wow! Josh Freese makes them 10 times more amazing.
It's all about Josh Freese.
Very very nice. I'm going to see them in Boston, and I hope they belt out a good helping of Mer de Noms tracks too!
Have I mentioned the pure greatness here before?
so true, this concert particularly he unleashes the tech
excellent, as usual.
i feel blessed watching this video
Sounds incredible for a live performance, everything's spot on
he's not the center of attention, he's just the most loved. people who like apc are well aware of the instrumentals and songwriting and the fact that they're a super-group that the likes of Josh Freese, James Iha, and others have been a part of

Thanks 4 sharing. I do feel a little motion sickness. Camera all over the place, sounds good tho. A for effort. 👏👏👏👏👏🙏❤🙏🕊🙏🌎
"Yes, that is the goal. You'll never achieve it, but that shouldn't stop you from trying."

Dont even get me started on his other super group Tool.
@KapustaCuber Me too!! See you there
YEAH
Yeah, a lot of people do. That is why a lot of people like APC. They tend to follow Maynard places.
Nice

y meshuggah
I miss APC with Freese
Agree
he was at his best with APC and they with him.
@@crowkangi He was bad ass in NIN
is this legal?
Nope.
Down is also another "Super Group"
I thought Jeff Freidl (sp?) was playing all these dates with apc, it's good to see Josh Freese behind the kit. He makes these songs IMO
Esse batera é foda *O*
wish i had a time machine
