This helped me a ton. Looking to replace it on my 87 because it’s chrome and it doesn’t look original. It may have been replaced by the previous owner. Thanks for the video.

Is it possible to repair a bowed door? The story is: I stored my 1985 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28 in the garage that had pillars. I didn't realize how close to the pillar my left mirror was as I was backing out. My mirror caught the pillar and bowed my door.

Nice, if you want to have delay, can one just change up the cover on the wiper motor and the switch arm so you have that feature? My 85 only has the regular washer settings, slow and fast...:( Duh...! And yes, the mister too. Thanks Tony!

If the passenger side blinker is not blinking but stays lit could the signal switch knob be the problem?

No not likely. When resistance isn't right you either get hyper flashing or a solid light. Most common issue is the grounds for the lights

@@TonyTheTechnician I also read that the daytime running light moduel goes bad and causes signal issues. One guy did a bypass with the wires so the current won't go through the moduel . thanks for the advice I will go through my grounds wires first before I take a look at the moduel. Do you know where the head light grounds are located?

Any idea why the stock wont go in all the way? Got the keyway lined up but it refuses to go in the last 1/8 to 1/4 inch. Even tapping gently with a deadblow hammer wouldn't drive it in. Now I have no wipers at all.

It has 2 keyways on it. They must both be lined up. You may have had it turned when you pulled it out. So try turning and pushing in

@@TonyTheTechnician thanks for the reply. Yeah it actually looks as though there is something at the end of the hole blocking it. I did have to adjust the high beam switch up some to get the rod to make contact. I hope the switch itself is not worn out since nobody seems to make them anymore. I see one keyway on the metal shaft, then the two on the plastic stock, but can't get the metal shaft in far enough for the plastic part to meet up.
