- This is a collection of round start themes and attacker advance themes from the CTE as of the latest specialisations update. The tracks can be found on the Battlefield_One subreddit though I can't find the thread, I just stitched them together for easy listening and decided to upload it in case anyone else was interested.
All credit goes to DICE, namely Patrik Andrén and Johan Söderqvist who composed the Battlefield Soundtrack.
I bought this game this Year (2022) and I can’t believe I went so long without playing it. What is this music??? Why is it so good? Like what the heck was dice thinking with 2042 when this game exists? This is the best war game I’ve ever played; nothing comes close to the tension, epicness, and immersive experience this game brings.
Thats what many are saying. I think that its universally agreed upon that Battlefield 1 is one of the most if not the most atmospheric and epic FPS there is

As someone who loves old BF titles (BF2, BC2 etc.) I wonder where the fuck have I been?
BF1 is a masterpiece in every regard.
Do you remember when the frontline mode came out with the french DLC and there was no timer for the round?
Shit was cash, my squad and I played on the same map for 4 hours and both teams wouldnt budge.
You could feel the desperation in the players you went up against, and it was a really hard fought battle.
Eventually we overpowered them.
The map was completely destroyed, there where bombshel craters everywhere.
I was promoted 4 times just that round alone

I can imagine playing as an attacker and all your team mates just charge into a brutal battle they will experience ahead.
No matter what team role you are, attacker or defender. You will still think that it will be terrifying and you will think the opposite team will be powerful.
But then.. the opposite team still thinks the same as that.

3:15 is my favorite one, sounds soo dramatic and decisive, fitting for the context of the 2 Russian Civil war maps

I remember hearing this for the first time on Volga river, the entire game just turns into a movie.
Everybody is moving as one across the snow, out of buildings and trenches, enemies are firing from the church and horses are screaming as they charge and my only hope was not that I got kills but that I survived long enough to join the attack at all

This game does a great job at being fun and immersive even if you’re not doing well. The movie feeling is definitely there.

Coming back to this video after 4 years really proves that this was the absolute peak of Battlefield soundtracks. Battlefield 1 wouldnt be even half as good without Johan Söderqvist and Patrik Andren.

Does the fact that the track at 0:49 isn't in the DLC hints that we might get a third operation for Albion and Lupkow Pass? I mean, why would they create an OST and never publish it? Also, Lupkow Pass and Albion aren't connected but DICE might find a way to do so!
It plays in Rush for Lupkow Pass / Albion. Though they might give both maps standalone operations at some point.

I doubt it. Lupkow pass and Albion don't connect to each other so it wouldn't make any sense. And if rush doesn't work well on those maps, then operations won't play out well on those maps. Especially Albion because that map is designed to be an all out conquest map
twin10broter Im getting sick of DICE making such amazing maps to be focused on conquest only. I mean I like conquest because that's the one that got me into battlefield but I really love the operations game mode.
Fuhrer Parodies ikr I agree but if they want to make it play on operations, they would have to tweak it a little bit. If they just import it like how it is. You would be complaining about how unbalanced the map is
I think they might have added a few more Attackers Advance themes now that the rest of the OST is up
One of them is based on Tsaritsyn End of Round, and it plays when you start taking the first sector.

i was on the Austrian side, we lost brutally on the first attack without capturing a single flag, the second wave starts and i knew i had to take control of the airship, and so i did, 0:49 starts playing and i was sure this will be a turning point, we came back, we won.

That's what I thought first, but then you realize that those themes are as good as They Shall not Pass ones.
They both show the horrors and grim reality of the war in my opinion
The Reece is a beast 22nd I really, really like the TSNP soundtrack, but the Russian soundtrack is sooo epic and dark. Makes the Russians look even more epic. Don't get me wrong, I love the french, but the soundtrack of French make them look like brave and courageous and kinda reflects their sacrifice (I know Russians lost more men). But the Russian soundtrack is so dark and epic at the same time
It kinda shows both the Hungarian and Russians well also the Hungarians and Russians throughout history to my knowledge have not many conflicts between each other. Which thus represents how dark the conflict actually was.

The second one really suits the struggle of the True russians as they stood against the Red hordes of the bolshevik pig. Depressing, And valiant.
To me the second one is more representative of the situation of the Russian Army fighting a losing war throughout WWI because of their horribly incompetent monarchy
