I tested them both and purchased the U505 4 Iron to go with my set of T200s. It provides an excellent feel, forgiveness, and distance. Thanks for another great review.
Tried both of these clubs today and purchased the T200 utility iron. Really nice feel relative to the U505 and dare I say easy to hit. Didn't have.the height the U505 produced (same 20* loft) but much better feel to me and my swing. I play T150 irons rest of the bag.
I have a new hip replacement in my left hip. I am 60 and my pain is a lot less. I’ve looked at the super game improvement irons: Cobra, Cleveland and the Titleist HD. Do you have any recommendations. I like these two also. Thanks!
Like the idea of them Andy but these utility irons seem to launch same as hybrids ...the T200 seems lower ..is it?? I'm looking for something lower launching into wind ...also again it's down to me to hit it low i.e. cover the ball shot more 🤷
Got my new U505 4i today - it replaced my old U505 4i. When I first converted to Titleist I declined the U505 after fitting because of its looks - I soon tried it again and bought it. If I am being honest, not that sure the new model so much better than the old, but fitting suggested ‘marginal gains’. Like the review - never did a head to head with the T200, but on collection, I did hit the T150 4i - the two shots I hit made me smile . . . But one swallow does not a summer make! Fitting is key!
I had the last U505 but I didn't care for the Hzrdus shaft. Went well off tee or decent lie but limited. Moved to 5 Hybrid as I could get a better fit Tensei Blue shaft that gave me distance and playability. My T200 irons start at 5. I like the idea of a 3-iron but not sure I'd use it much. That said, I'd opt for the T200 over the U505.
Brian Harman, The Open Champion WITB U-505 3,4,5....enough said. No need to worry if it's not as Pro as the U 200 but maybe more Pro then a 7 wood, way wait Dustin Johnson using a 9 wood....humm no wrong or right choices here.

I got full set t150s. The 3 iron is 19*. Considering having bent strong 2 to 17* and restrict it to teebox.
I don’t know why they don’t make the 505 in more lofts! People who don’t like hybrids but need them might like those.
They make it in a 1.2.3. and 4, what more do you want? you want to swap out a 5 iron?
The 505 is so big and bulky I can’t see them adding more lofts. The T200 is so much more like a typical iron.

Just bought a set of T200's a few months back. I don't have a 3 iron.
Andy, you've had Mono audio on your last couple videos, left channel only.
Just letting you know
Thanks and apologies
What's weird is @7:12 both L/R channels are there ...
My left ear enjoyed this video :)
Nice looking clubs, awesome backdrop. 👍🏼
Gorgeous....both

Lighter shafts/graphite 👍

yes they are both designed to fly/apex lower than a same lofted hybrid. t200 lowest , 505 bit higher
You could get a T400 5 iron at 20 degrees. I reckon that would do it for higher handicaps

Good option I reckon Bri

I never thought Id see the day....
If only Titleist would continue the numbers in the U505 it would become a very good T400 replacement and a Stealth HD alternative.
Good point
Do you mean by making 3-PW?
@@paulmcgee1867 yes in the shape and profile of the U505
@@TheAverageGolfer which is your favorite utility iron for forgiveness/distance? what would you choose between stealth dhy or u505?

Is that a 1 length shaft? Looks short in comparison to my 3 iron.
No these are not one length
@@TheAverageGolfer i must just be really short 😆
@@jamgram782 youre a tiny tiny man.....but we all still love ya
Just a note - the audio only plays on the left. Has been this way for a couple of videos!
Thanks
U505 2i .5” shorter, T350 5i .5” longer, T200 6i-8i, T150 9i-Aw is what I did.
I am guessing that the T350 would perform even better than the T200?
I like my 505 off the tee on a tight fairway.
It’s definitely great for that option but does it offer much more versatility?
@@TheAverageGolfer when the driver is erratic, it’s a reliable straight fairway finder. Honestly, since I got the TSR2 hybrid it’s a little redundant
