This is the first time Reba and Dolly have ever recorded a song together. Crazy. They both knocked it out of the park with this one!

I love the original and I’ve never heard this version till now and all I can say is goosebumps the whole song! Dolly is a legend and Reba just has the voice of an angel!!! Doesn’t get better than these two solo or together! Wow!!!

I said this on the official video too, but I really love how-comparing the two versions-this version is more of a reflection tone, and the first version is the heat of the moment kind of rendition.

I love both Reba and Dolly's performances in this not just in the singing but how they are in character while singing. Reba portrays a woman facing the Other woman in the relationship with her husband and is clearly trying to hold her anger back even as she sings. Now normally we have disdain for the other woman but Dolly Portrays the Other Woman as a tragic figure herself in those first lines she sings. She sounds like she found love in this man but she knows she can never have all of him, only his some of his nights. It's such a good song, i would honestly love a country musical based on combining Reba and Dolly songs.
Linda Davis is the mother of Hilary Scott, the female singer of the award winning country music trio Lady A. Both are amazing singers.
Make sure the mom watches the original video.Especially the end.

Like you I love country and I really really love story telling music and so though not country I would love to see your thoughts on these 3 songs. The thing is you have to go in order to get the whole emotion of the story to play out. If it doesnt fit into the channel I will still be a a big fan. 😁

Ohhhhhhhhh, you dont know if Dolly still has it? Lol. This is is sooooooo much more powerful than the original. No offense to Linda Davis.
I like both of these ladies but to me Reba just has a better voice dolly Parton can sing but Reba McEntire can belt it out with her voice they did good on this song but I like the original song with Linda Davis better also dolly has been known to do The Whisper when she sings but when you are dealing with a singer like Reba you need to bring it all the way I do not like how she is Whispering and please don't come at me in the comments being negative but that is just my opinion I'm a Dolly Parton and a Reba McEntire fan
