@@RealityRogue It also has hidden stats one can only see by viewing the source code of the game, which needless to say is near impossible to acquire. Supposedly the leaked hidden stats came from one of the developers themselves, and the sword actually becomes more powerful the more you replay the game. However if you abuse the power of the sword too often, over time you lose the capability to wield many of your abilities gained thusfar. Most people don't even know this though because they think the overpowered feeling will never fade and that the game has lost its challenge. But the more powerful you become with the sword, the harder the game actually becomes in the long run, because you become so reliant on it that you have to start from the beginning on NG+0 to use your other abilities again. I suspect that maybe this is why the tuba hero fell in the first place. He couldn't hack it with brasscalibur alone, and the temptation to disregard all other forms of attack and tact for the blade's sheer physical might proved ultimately fatal to the hero's career, as his friends and allies would be lost in his single minded approach to battle: Charge forth and strike mightily, no matter the cost..

      Absolute power, corrupts absolutely.
If you choose to take King Tuba's place as ruler of the land, the ending cutscenes take a slightly more sinister and cynical tone, implying that the corruption seen resurging in the sequel is precisely because you didn't break the cycle, simply started the cycle again. If you let yourself succumb to your wounds and don't take your place on the throne, you are saved both from the corruption of the throne's power, and also your injuries from an ally you thought to have died on your path up the final tower, and the ending cutscenes take a more hopeful tone. If you plan on doing a purity run you must do this to continue the purity run through the second game as you have to import your save data to access the run

The fight was long and harrowing, now drawing to a close as the Maestro stood, and the Fallen Hero was ready to accept death. However, the maestro outstretched his hand to the fallen hero, His eyebrows furled, a look of steeled determination, and raw courage that the Fallen Tuba Hero could only recognize as staring back at a mirror at his younger self, his eyes widened as a lone tear strode down his face... As soon as he blinked, the memory was gone, "Why do you aid a disgrace like me...?" Asked the Fallen Hero in a tone that could only be akin to a heart-wrenching orchestra,
"Why? Look at yourself!" Bellowed the Maestro, "You promised to uphold peace and protect these lands from tyrants! Stand up! Your fight is not yet over! Have you no honor?! You are still the Hero you once were! I shall not let a brass being like you tarnish and rust! Your tunes still have life in them! STAND UP, HERO! LET YOUR TUNES ROAR LIKE THEY DID IN TIMES LONG SINCE PASSED!!! BLARE AND UPHOLD YOURSELF TO THOSE VIRTUES YOU DID WHEN YOU WERE IN THE DAYS OF YOUTH!!!"
The words of the Maestro struck deep within the Hero, that harmonious tune he knew all too well. That blare of valor he only knew to be his brethren who fell to corruption cheering his name in a raging cacophony that only screamed one word, "VICTORY!!!"
He knew... The Maestro had one goal. Break the chains of tyranny, and set his brethren free!
The Hero fighting back tears, gritted his teeth as he stood tall, his brass armor catching the sunlight as it gave that iridescent golden glow the tyrants had long since thought was dead. Reinvigorated with a will to fight once more... He takes the Maestro's hand, a firm grip as he shakes it, as he replies, his tone returning to that confident baritone doot that rattled the airwaves, "You are right, traveler... My fight is not yet over. You are right... As long as I draw breath, I shall not let these lands fall to corruption. I shall aid you in your conquest to finish what I had started... And failed to finish."
The Maestro grinned, "What is your name, Hero?"
At last... That look the Maestro was waiting for. That look of resolve and unshakable bravery... He replied with a tone of pride and newfound heroism, "Tubarthur, good sir!" (Credit of the name goes to another commenter.)

The real Fallen Tuba exiled himself after finding out that King Tuba I was actually a righteous king who was overthrown by the Brasswind Alliance not because he was evil, but because he had refused to buy their inferior valve oil. Now his brother, King Tuba II is their puppet which is why the Tubas don't move as quickly as they used to. The Fallen Tuba Slave is actually an impostor meant to demoralize any Tuba that dares challenge King Tuba II.

The symbolism of his Woodwind lover is a bit obvious, but it works so well as a leitmotif for the disgraced Brass Hero. With a band of loyal Percussion soldiers, he fights on even while unaware of what happened after his exile. Depending on playthrough I don't tell him, it just breaks the poor dear and demoralises his troops.

Saving his life in Tuba Forest after talking to him in Boom Town and outside the abandoned mine gives you the option to summon him for the Brass Trio battle. If you don't save him, or progress to far in the story, you find his corpse in the forest instead. You can loot it for a +7 AC vs sonic damage amulet. If you show it to the owner at the Boom Town inn, you get some extra dialog.

This is amazing, made this for all Tuba Bosses
    Tuba LORE:
You start your adventure on a path of some sort when the Tarantula Wizzard join your party
You head to The Tuba Arms Dealer to grab some weapons you see a new experimental weapon called "The Trombone" more powerful than any other brass, more note range, more mobility, better in all aspects.
You then encounter The Tuba Chef, a pretty easy boss, but when defeated drops an inventories worth of healing items.
You stumble across The Tuba Hermit, a mysterious man, he will disappear after giving you a quest to defeat Tuba Wizard
Before the first mini-boss, you fight a swarm of Tuba Infantry who were mid-battle with some Tuba bandits
Then you face the Tuba Wizard and his apprentice The Tuba Warlock, the first Tuba mini-boss trained by the one and only Tuba Trainer!
Afterward, you must fight off their failed Tuba King clone, The Tuba Grotesque
You are questioned by A Tuba Officer, The Tuba King knows of your presence...
Then you face the Tube Heavy Gunner, a high armor enemy, and his swarms of Tuba Gunman. Before you can defeat him he is decimated by an even stronger outlaw known as The Tuba Sharpshooter, he wields a new weapon unknown to the brass world known as the TROMBONE.
An optional encounter may happen where you meet face to face with The Tuba Pyro, he is a user of Jazz which gives him a faster reload time, you must take him out with long-ranged weaponry or pay the fiery price!
You are passing a bridge, The Tuba Hermit appears on the other side and mutates into The Tuba Monster, he charges at you,
Then at a later point, you encounter a man who has lost everything, even his brother, The Sad Tuba, The Tuba Knight, a man of honor, he will either fight you out of desperation or join your party to get revenge on The Tuba King...
There is a reflection in the cliffs, you know who it is, you duck for cover as a high b sharp flies towards you, it's The Tuba Sniper, famed Tuba Assassin in the Tuba world, the only way to defeat him is to hit his glasses to reduce his aim.
You stand just outside the castle walls when you see herds of horses with Tuba Duos as their riders, you will most definitely perish, but then in the distance you hear, choir? This can only mean one thing, Tuba Crusaders and their Tuba Paladins and Advanced Brass Warriors, they ready their trumpets, trombones and french horns alike and fight with you in battle, they can help you no further, their horses refuse to go toward The Tuba King.
There is an optional boss fight known as The Tuba Brothers, they specialize in combos, Tuba Silver stunning you than Tuba Bronze dealing heavy damage. Tuba Silver also summons Tuba Defenders and Tuba Protectors.
You pass the gates but in your path lies The Tuba Destroyer, he is also on a quest to defeat the Tuba King, but only one may defeat him and you ready for battle, if you do not have The Tuba Knight in your party he can be convinced to join your party.
You stand before the gates, but one of your members need to use the washroom, a quest begins "Washroom? TUBA-D" you enter the washroom and there lies A Tuba Lunatic, a dangerous enemy early on but at this point, he is a fairly easy fight.
Three Tuba Duelists stand between you and The Tuba King, they have a 100% dodge rate so you can only hit them with very powerful AOE attacks. They are very strong, stronger than even The Tuba Destroyer...
You gaze back at the defense The Tuba Crusaders are putting up stopping hordes of Tuba Mortars, Tuba Infantry, and even A Tuba Dragon!
you stand before The Tuba Trickster and The Tuba Lord, he has an army of Duelists, Mortars, Tuba Wizards, Tuba Heavy Gunners, (The Tuba Brothers if you haven't defeated them yet), several Tuba Colossuses, and pure evil. But now is no time to turn back, you have your own army, an army of crusaders, clerics, knights, and a spider, and most importantly, you've learned a powerful spell, The Lick. the Tuba Lord stares down not at you, the commander, but The Spider Wizard, he says with a hearty chuckle, "Rise to your true form, old enemy!", the spider turns into a blue cloud of light as he turns into a humanoid, with a familiar piece of armor crest, the mark of the fallen hero, the one that dare faced The Tuba Lord many years ago, was trapped as a spider, but now at full strength, you are ready for battle, The Tuba Crusaders march in exhausted, but heavily armed.
The corrupted Tuba King is in front of you, his minions attack your army and fellow party members, except for you and the fallen hero, he wishes to face you head-on, him and The Tuba Trickster... "PREPARE FOR BRASS DESTRUCTION!!!" he said, He has a purple corrupted glow, something isn't right, you fight your hardest, but you can't defeat him, you swap targets and defeat The Tuba Trickster, half of the king's army disappears to purple mist, you now face the true king, Lord Tuba, You fight as hard as you can, you puncture one hole in him, but that isn't enough but through the door comes, The Tuba Wizard you fought at the start of your journey, he dashes towards you, grabs your sword, it glows, he stabs The Tuba King in the puncture wound, The Tuba Lord throws him to the side, the sword falls, enchanted, The fallen hero grabs it and says, "Beats being a spider" and jumps into the punctured armor of The Tuba Lord, the walls start to crumble, you and your army evacuate, the place explodes in a heavy brass explosion, metal scraps fly everywhere, you check the wreckage, no sign of The Fallen Hero...
You have no time to dwell on your sorrows, you still must face The Tuba Queen...

The Tuba Hero is without a doubt the most heartbreaking, tragic, and brilliant heroes in the entirety of Orchestria, only being topped by the Tuba Knight himself.
There are many bosses and characters who were struck down by he ever so heaving claws of tragedy, failure and grief, but the Hero's song hits my ears the most tragic.
We hear of him throughout the game, we listen to the people's song, the song of his noble and righteous deeds and how he alone defeated and de-chored the most profound and wretched of evils. The whole time we stand between disbelief and admiration, truth and legend, but one thing is for sure, The Tuba Hero is a hero, The kindgom of brass' champion, the woodwind's adversary, the dynasty's ambassador, and the world's mightiest.
"The tuba Hero, indeed a warrior to behold for his might. None were more well versed than the knight with the most polished brass. None ever dared to speak foul in his name, not even then on from a time that passed. Legendary beyond belief, an honored and revered hero."
    -Abrasseus C. Grapheous III
"For eons he toiled, seeking to change the Age of demise, twist it for the good of all the hums of life. The fear of darkness that lingered in our hearts no longer to be. The masked sounds soon to be free. A great deed thst he would soon accomplish... My hero... I wanted to be just like him."
    -Bassicus of Percussia
But... When we finally go through those golden gates that seeped hope, it showed us, a horrible truth. And we reluctantly realize that the hollow shadow standing before us was that of the world's proudest.
His armor worn out by combat and pain, his aura changed by the mask of the void, his will of steel forever broken.
The Tuba Hero, a figure said to be invincible, unbendable, incomparable, unsilencable was no more. Instead we see a shadow of his past self, an empty vessel. He looks at us without conviction or intention and filled with hatred he strikes the first hit.
It's an arduous fight, more so because we're killing a hero revered by history because of his outstanding feats... An illusion that painfully revealed to us.
As time passes the once mighty hero weakens and as we strike our final blow he screams. A shriek so passionate, so intense that it reminds us he was once one of us, a harmonial being. And with that final outburst, ends the legend of the Tuba Hero. A warrior that had supposedly freed all of the world, knight of all.
And while we go on to end what he started, we never quite get over his fate. And who could? Not even the rythymless would forget. An adversary of justice we thought nearly godlike, was turned into a bad remix. A statement painful to dull our words. Not even a higher being could resist the alluring temptation of that cruel darkness that haunted the world and beyond. And so his most noble intention availed to nothing as the deafening silence masks his melody too...
"Darkness... That is the one truth and aspect that defines and molds this world. If darkness ever comes to pass then you are able to destroy, to abolish nations, states, Kingdoms. You can dust off an armies that, otherwise can shake the world. An aspect cruel to all. It does not care if the you have the strength of Gods, it does not stop at the pleas of the blameless, it does not care. And no one else knows more than those with faith."
    - Tuba King VII

You don't look like how the rumors described you.
    What do you mean sir?
    Who are you?
Nothing, just felt like I've seen a mirror from the past today.
A very nostalgic and painful mirror at that.

For a post-game fight, this is definitely one of the toughest to get trough. His attacks are extremely fast and can destroy you with ease and most of them can combo into each other. This fight makes you use everything you learned trough the game and cranks it to the extreme. Timings are insanely tight with very little space for error.
First off, take your time, there is no countdown, no rush or anything, take time to learn his patterns and movements and take a few rounds to practice to dodge without using your items until you feel real confident.
Next, when he uses his elemental attacks, he cannot use the same immediately after, if he uses the fire attack, he has to use another one before doing it again so it's good to keep in mind.
Finally, during his third phase when he summons his old friend, The Lost Tuba Mage, you can't hurt him and the Fallen Tuba will charge you if you threaten the mage so better leave him do his thing but keep in mind and an eye at what he's doing.
To conclude, *do not* underestimate this battle, it is very difficult and is a huge test. But with enough practice, skills and determination, you can achieve it.
This fight took me many sessions during a whole week to get trough so don't be mad if it takes you a few hours.

The tuba knight takes on many different forms, but their tuba hero form is their most powerful, unlocked by truely awakening calibrass into brasscalibur by collecting all pieces of the purification baton, thus getting the whole team of the brass commandos, and main protagonists ready to go against the final boss, but the purification baton would be able to be fully formed normally in new game + mode as a few changes would occurred, and thus allowing them to become a true hero, and also giving their ultimate armor set, the holy heroic brass armor set, and also revealing their name, brarthur.

(Intro to fight dialogue) "I see... So if this is to be one step towards my name engraved in those stones... Then so be it, come at thee thou fiend! Come and fight as though you were to be my equal! Thousands on thousands come to claim my head, what makes you any different?"
(Half health dialogue) "Ah, I see... This wouldn't be your first fight now would it... No matter, this fight has only had its beginning the end has yet to come!"
(Dying dialogue) "So, it was you... The one to claim my head out of many, maybe just maybe I'd be just a footnote on those cursed stones..."
(When player is close to death) "Hah, just as I thought you seem to have let your guard down! Do not take me lightly wretched fool!"
(When player dies in phase 2) "Now rest, among the other fools I hath slain you at least gave a proper fight"
(When player dies in phase one) "Ha Hah! I have taken another step towards glory!"
(When player chooses to have dialogue with The tuba hero) "Oh what's this? You drawn not your sword but your words? Quite surprising... What be thy reason?"
(Choosing dialogue option one: "I request a fair bout") "hahaha why that's a new one, I'd hope you not be serious. I do not have time to daudle with such horseplay"
(Choosing dialogue option 1.2: "What is the reason?") "Well, since you amused me with such lighthearted innocence, you must not know of who I am... Or well for that matter, who people think I am... I was once a hero to this now forsaken kingdom led my life in servitude to thy recent passing king, fought many a battles with and for him. Trusted though I may have been, I did not like the kings son, whom now assumeth a kingly position hence my current position, he wanted me dead... The unearthly demon, I called a heresy upon him, but alas a kings order is seen as an absolute among all knights, I be no exception... Ordered to be executed for my treasonous behavior, I did not comply as you can so clearly see. So now I work to fight my way back into the kingdom and kill that cursed man... And thus my story continues"
(Choosing option 1.2.3: "Sounds like a hefty load, would you need assistance?") "Hmm, a question indeed, I suppose it couldnt hurt... You don't seem to have any malice towards me even after hearing what I hath said... So be it, need I be of your assistance i ask that I may receive it. Well, I best be off... Idling here means that I get no closer to killing him... Good day to you and safe travels" (End of dialogue sequence and progresses story path to plot 2)
(Going back to first dialogue options, Choosing option 2: "You, I know of you!") "Oh...? Well then I guess we both know why we are here then?" (End of dialogue sequence and start to battle sequence.)
(Back to first dialogue options, Choosing option 3: *Remain Silent*) "Hmm? Move along, I am no statue that be here for one lookers" (End of dialogue sequence, and does not continue his story path to plot 2)
Later in Hingodreth's Asylum the master of the organed pipes you stumble across him before the area boss (note this boss is an optional boss as you can find a safe pasage around it)
(You start dialogue with him) "Ah, what marvelous timing! I'd have gone in by now have you not shown up, look... I sense and eerie presence almost foreboding... I do not remember such a being, being a part of the knights court... Although... There is that idea floating about... *Ahem* anyways I believe you offered to aid me? Well I believe now is no better time than to live up to such a promise... no?
(Choosing option 1: *Nods Head*) "Wonderful! Now let's be off" (choosing this option closes the safe passage around the boss and progresses his story to plot 3)
(Choosing option 2: "On second thought") "What?! Heh, I hath been a fool to place trust in any being within this forsaken kingdom... No matter... Once I behead that putrid king I will no doubt find my chance to slay you... You may regret this day young sir..." (This ends dialogue and closes boss arena to player and forces safe passage and this keeps his story on plot 2)
(Upon ignoring him and not starting dialogue and going through safe passage his story will be set on path 1)
(Upon entering the bosses arena without starting dialogue he enters when boss hits 75% health) "what's this? I see we have a common goal, let me be of help in this battle!" ((Whether having started dialogue before battle or not) Upon finishing the fight he stands out of breath starting dialogue with him) " *pants* *pants* (stands up straight) that be a battle for the ages, I thank the for your assistance in this battle. It proved to be quite needed. I applaud your skill young sir... Till we meet again, for now I shall rest here and be on my way shortly..." (This sets his story on plot 3)
Later once you reach Castle Harmonious you see him at the door just before the kings court the door will be locked if he is set on plot 3, the door slightly open on plot 2, and the door locked and you'll notice a pike near the door with the tuba hero's helmet on top with a sign that says "treasonous actions will be met with the highest punishment" if on plot 1 and you'll need to find a different way into the kings court which provides bosses you'll need to face to gain entrance.
(Plot 2: you find the kings court door slightly open, upon getting closer you hear the clashing of swords upon entering you get involved in a battle between the king's Courted knight and the Tuba hero who's helmet is severely dented presumably from his fight you decided to not assist him with, in the midst of battle he notices your presence) "You! You dare show now? No matter, I'll just kill you all!!! All of you must die for the sins to be forgiven!" (Killing the kings courted knight first applies this dialogue from tuba hero) "Now.... Now it is your turn"
(Upon killing the tuba hero first) "You... You demons among man, I'll make my way into hell just to kill you"
(Upon finishing the fight with Tuba hero) "Curses, I was so close... If only, if only I had killed you sooner..." End of tuba hero plot 2
(Plot 3 you enter dialogue with tuba knight outside the kings court) "Ah! I have been waiting for you, since we both seem to be on similar paths, I saw it fit to wait here for you my friend! Now I do say... I may enjoy having your assistance in this battle to come. What say you?" ( you cannot decline his help on this battle but you can postpone this battle to fight the now optional bosses that you would've needed to fight to gain entrance in plot 1 with the dialogue option: "There are still things that need to be done") "ah, then let me hold you up no longer but should you come through here, you will undoubtedly receive my assistance"
(Upon choosing dialogue option 1 however: "The door is locked how do you suppose we get inside?") "Hahaha, ah this really shows how you do not know me... What fresh air this brings... I was a knight among knights, the previous king entrusted a special key to me that I know that wretched fool of a king now did not know of... This be our entrance." (He hands you the key to start the battle)
(Upon finishing the battle with the kings courted knight) "Ah, marvelous... I had not believed to have made it this far. Not without your much needed help, I thank you... And here as a token of my gratitude (he hands you his famed helmet The *Tuba Hero's Helm*, in its description it reads "The trusted helm of a warrior among warriors, but more importantly a friend.") Now take it, and be off... I know our paths diverge from this point on... You're here to purge that sheet music right, that blasted song that corrupted and made this land putrid... I still have a king to slay... Safe travels friend... (End of plot 3 and tuba hero's known story)
P.S. if you read all that, I hope you enjoyed it. I just really liked the character and thought of this story. I have also made another story in the comment section of "Hidden toilet Boss music" which I also enjoyed writing. Thank you for reading! :D
    P.s.s. edit: fixed some typos

What I find kind of poetic about this boss is that it fits his name. You as the Hero fight the hero before you and he knows every technique and trick you know. And even all the items you used. He used heal items when his healt was low. Grenades and even power boost. Everything I even used. And after my second play true where I used different items I realized that he only used the items I used in this play true.
It didnt feeled like I was fighting a AI and more like a real person.

This old legend of a hero began his knighthood 40 years ago, when King Tuba I still reigned. Even when he was still but a schoir boy, his spirit and resolve showed great promise, to the point where he was like a brother to then Prince Tuba II, and Tuba I raised him like a son after the poor boy was orphaned by a natural disaster that struck his village, leaving only him and his sister as the sole survivors. Even though he originated from the woodwind nation, Tuba I demanded that all would treat him fairly, much to the chagrin of the royal court. After 10 years, he was knighted as Captain Saxon of the royal guard, allowing him and his sister, Stella, to live a decent life that would have denied them were it anyone else but Tuba I as king. Alas, 20 years ago is when tragedy struck, and the king who cared for him like a father was killed by an unknown assailant, and Saxon blamed himself for not being strong enough to protect his majesty. Afterwards, he spent the next decade traveling the continent, learning combat techniques of the four kingdoms, mastering the swiftness of the woodwinds, the precision of the Strings, the endurance of the Percussions, and the power of the brass. After returning from his pilgrimage, he returned to see that Stella and King Tuba II had happily married, with his resolve tempered ever stronger to protect the two people he cared for more than anything else in the world. However, he still had one last thing to conclude: who murdered the former king in cold blood? After an intense investigation supported by the king himself, he discovered it to be one of the nobles who scorned him all those years ago, now a shriveled, old man who hadn't lost an ounce of xenophobic bitterness. Even though he wanted to grab the old by the neck and squeeze the pathetic life out of him, his sense of justice restrained Saxon enough to demand the nobleman stand trial for regicide. Just as he thought his heart would finally know peace, the man suffered a heart attack and died on the spot. It was dark when Saxon confronted him, and any witnesses to the scene testified that the noble was killed by him. Not able to sentence someone he saw as a brother to the gallows, King Tuba II, with a heavy heart, exiled Saxon instead.

Similar tombs have been christened across the land, each with their own unknown soldier inside. Too bent, corroded, and torn to tell their tribe. Tuba, French horn, flute, trombone, it matters not. Their strength, will never be forgotten.

Rumour has it this former Brass Kingdom denizen clad in white armour holds a closer connection to the King than anyone could have expected. Could this man be the King's long-lost brother? Either way, he seeks to re-enter the realm he had been cast out from 10 long years ago. Will you help him see the ramparts of his homeland once more?

Hands down best fight in the game, the animations are so smooth and the attack patterns is clear and predictable but still hard to dodge, the devs really outdid themselves this time

2.) Offer an alliance and join your team (+fallen hero)

15th boss of the game, he is just a reskin of tuba knight but he's level 70 and has new attacks, heavy melee weapons will be usefull to hit through his shield, but he's very resistant against ranged and light weapons.
