Long before time, four warriors would train on top of the Musicshore hill, Their names was Brasshein, Flutesiyo, Violinsik, And Drumisaki. They would train till the dawn broke out the sky. Then one of them turned to evil forces, the three remaining warriors fought the evil side till they saw Brasshein. Darkness arose and all hope was lost on that day.

His fighting style is unknown to warriors within the empire, but none can deny his skill. His attacks are as beautiful as they are deadly, nearly an art from, and yet every movement is calculated to strike down his opponents before they even have a chance. In most bossfights, you can learn your opponent's patterns and take advantage of them, but this one is unpredictable, and it feels like you're never in control. One mistake will give him all the opportunity he needs to end the fight in his favor.
This is very much in the spirit of the samurai, I was worried there would be no brass instruments in the beginning but then I got to the middle and now I'm satisfied.

Ok everyone’s talking about making a video game out of this, but *what of TTRPG?* Like, the classes would be the same, but new (or modified) races like woodwind, brass, percussion and string, with a cool medieval-instrument kingdom storyline
Samurai are trained in multi-instrumental disciplines but the most devastating one in their arsenal is their tuba made of tempered folded brass designed to rend asunder any other instrument in their wake.
The scene for the character's history has him as a baby tuba being held by his tuba mother that gently honks a sweet melody to him. BUT THEN SOME SHIT HAPPENS TO HER BY THE ENEMY.
"Welcome traveler. I know you came not for wares nor tea, but allow me to offer you my best of each. For it is the way of the shamisrai to give a fair fight"
Tuba Samurai Lore: He once was a knight of the tuba army, but after *King Tuba I* Passes away and *King Tuba II* replaces him, he was objected the order of *King Tuba II* to attack other kingdom so he can be the most powerfull Instrument in the whole *Music World* , thus he left the army and take on an adventure to the *String Kingdom* . One day, he met an Old Samisen Samurai who got retired from being the kingdom royal army since he got older. The young Tuba asks "arent you from the Royal String army?" And the Old Samisen Samurai replies "why yes, why you ask?" And then The young Tuba replies "can you be my master? I need to get stronger, so i can stop Brass kingdom from expanding and destroying other kingdoms" and then the Old Samisen Samurai says "well, why not, its not like i have other stuff to do anyways". Thus the young Tuba became Old Samisen Samurai's Apprentice. After couple of years, the Old Samisen Samurai give the young Tuba his *Samisen* and says "its been fun, but i have nothing teach you left, you should join the Royal String Army and get more experience there" and the young Tuba replies "thank you my master for teaching me and thank you for the *Samisen* , i will put this in a great use at the field". Thus the young Tuba joined the Royal String Army and become *Tuba Samurai* . Fun fact: his General was "Violin Legionary" in the Royal String Army.
He, who traveled into the tuba Kingdom from the Far Far East. He, who challenged the Tuba King for a fight and as such earned his respect and a position of the head of the Royal Guard. I like how honourable this guy is. In fact, if you beat him without doing anything he deems “dishonourable” he’ll actually give you his weapon, instead of you having to go through 5 trials to unlock its full potential.
When the Band Daimyo (director) was displeased with their section's lackluster performance in the musical festival, the Tuba clan exiled the Tuba Samurai. Now he wanders alone as a ronin across the grassy Brasswind plains...
He is honestly one of the hardest bosses. I know, it's canon he's trained the brass since he was born, but still, tone him down a notch. His sword is a literal one hit kill like really devs?
I've got a D&D world where thousands of years ago, Elves invaded the material plane from the Feywild. One legion of elves, led by the ancient red dragon and Elven God of War Ferrum, sailed for the eastern continent. Intent to conquer it, the elves would find their orcish and dwarven enemies to be too formidable to defeat, leaving no survivors of the original invading legion. Ferrum, however, an invincible, blood-lusting wyrm, never stopped fighting until orcs began pledging themselves to him. Enamored by Ferrum's power and ferocity, they abandoned their creator and their roots to learn from this new entity. Teaching them the Elven ways of war, any orcs that pledged themselves to Ferrum's cause grew to a level of sophistication and disciple previously not thought possible amongst orcs. In just a few hundred years, Ferrum rebuilt his legion with thousands of orcish samurai, trained and ready to die for their draconic master. If my players ever visit this part of the world, I'm saving this song for the dragon's entrance. (Specifically, a scenic walk up a clouded mountain, whereupon the music goes ham as the cloud parts and Ferrum streaks towards them like a comet)
So there’s this neat little talisman you can get from the Tuba merchant, just get the “Cracked Vibration” quest from him, gotta be like level 25 I think, but all you gotta do is get 25 vibration shards, you can farm those from broken symphonic beasts in the Tuba graveyard, and he’ll trade you a talisman called “Crashers Rhythm” basically the more conservative hits you take the more damage you’ll deal when you make another attack. The reason I’m saying this is cause while the samurai is pretty difficult all his attacks come in multi strikes each counting as one strike. His basic attack hits you like 16 hits, he’s mainly trying to hit stun to but wear the cymbal keeper set, makes you immune to stagger, use the song of greater warding, reduces damage just gotta upgrade your wand at the old opera house and set the spell from the ruins of the tuba wizard old tower, put on the talisman get your weapon of choice and shred this boss. Block for a bit, not to long he’ll guard break you and he ignores the cymbal keepers guard break resistance, but when the talisman counter reaches about 25-28 whap him and you can do like a 3rd of his HP in one hit. It’s awesome.
Man, when it picks up it really makes my imagination go wild. Amazing work, I really like how you can perfectly distinguish the different rhythms of both phases.

There is a 20% chance to drop the item "low bassed shamisen" a unique weapon that, when used, will apply a effect soley to this weapon only "dishonored"
The item he drops is really fun to goof around with since it has two modes. I prefer the second since it lets you parry the tuba mercenary attacks, but the first is fun since it lets you one shot most low-mid level enemies. Probably one of the most versatile weapons and the best boss fight in the game.
at first, the duel starts off like any duel, both sides eyeing each other as tension builds while they have their hands on their sheathes in preparation BUT THEN: 1:00

this legendary master of the arts has mastered bolth tuba and woodwind styles of combat, gracefully combining them into one to hypnoticaly destroy his enemies, he weilds the body of a killed banjo of some kind as his main weapon while having a tuba gun on standby
Tuba samurai Hp: 175000 Attack type: melee, Physical, blood effect Attack: 1250 Attack speed: Fast Defence: 430 Spell Resistance: 40 Speed: medium Skills Boold echo: increase speed if the rival Hp is low to 40% Blade weakness: after to hit the enemy, reduce her Atk in 25% for 3 seconds Harakiri: if her Hp is low to 20%, make harakiri and increase the speed and attack significatly and change damage to magic damage

And that is one of the reasons everyone loves this boss fight. (look out for his sonic boom attack, it comes out quicker than the other bosses which use a similar attack to that).
MY NAME IS TUBA MASATUBA HONKIWA!!!
AS I HONK YOU WILL NOT PASS THE TUBA CONCERT!
*Video starts* "Ah, yes, they went the traditional way, that's nice."
*Video continues* "Alright, this one's actually kinda good."
*Drop* "Holy crap, this is pretty badass, actually."
Quest: The Honour of The String

Difficulty: S
Description:
You must save the Shamisen Samurai who’s been possessed by the Tuba Kingdom, in doing so you will be rewarded by the trust of the String Kingdom to save them and get cheaper prices and more items, you will also get a Shamisen Katana(A++) and Kozane Armour(A+).
By failing or killing him will result the string People distrust you, prices increase by 10-30%, less buyable items and more enemies appearing
Note for idea: max rarity in items and quest are (SSS++) lowest for items is (H-) for quest (G), in game you start as a novice musician and conductor, you live in Vibeya Town in the Beatempo Kingdom, you hear many tubas as your town is being been attacked, you try to help others and escape but you encounter a tuba, you had struggled to defeat it and hide in outside the town, you had sworn to train and help your kingdom to defeat the Tuba kingdom. (And also get help with allies and a harem). The game is a free roam rpg with cutscenes and its gonna be like dark souls, final fantasy type game with its own spices and hint of other types of games. The game will be called The Music Lord: The Chronicles of Tuba
I can visualize the fighting scene in my head by just listening to this theme
Ok so I read the lore but I’m a bit confused. Is evil like king tuba ll or is he not allied with the brass legion?
He is currently a servant of King Tuba II, who promised Masatuba even more power than the brasshido could bestow him
He would join with the corruptor for greater power? Has he no honor?
@@lablimpet He once had, but unknowingly he lost his honor and everything he used to fight for in search of more power
@@nocturne.nocturnal Also he wanted more power as he was dishonored when he lost a fight against an Eastern instrument Lord, but could not bring himself to commit instrumental seppuku, so he decided to become stronger and it consumed him.
@@lotusluminance5872 XD
I fucking love band nerds dude. Making all of the lore behind the characters they make adding themes for them lmao. Nice job this is really good.
This one is difficult to beat even with a fully upgraded character.
Grind for the sticky strings, make him lose a lot of speed and become easier to dodge.
And considering that he's just a side/hidden boss he truly is terrifying
@@anm10wolvorinenotapanther32 Look at deltarune side bosses and look at your comment.
Just beat this boss yesterday, and I gotta say, his theme was the best out of the game without a doubt.
A mysterious samurai who transported from the ancient tuba into the modern tuba timeline and now joining the tuba kingdom
man the dlc was so cool the addition of the island of shadows and honor were breath taken. tuba samurai's sound slash was very unique increasing the enemies sound based attacks but harming them when using one
This whole Tuba Quest thing is growing at insane speeds. The lore is literally overlapping itself and becoming more and more complex.
Man dodging all his string attacks near the end made me sweat more then orphan of kos did in bloodborne, he is at low health you think "time to finish this off this was a fun fight" and then out of no where he just sits down and starts playing, It's like he has accepted he will die but he does not want to go out like a punk it just so cool and fits so well with the rest of the lore.
How is it all of these are more interesting and memorable than all of Hollywood's best and brightest have made over the past 20 fking years
Tuba-Samurai: Omoshiroi, Tuba-Sensei. You fought well despite being 52 years corroded and unplayed.
Tuba-Sensei: Tired already, Tuba-samurai? I thought you would perform better with just a few blows on me, but you seem to have gone sluggish since the last time I've last met you.
Tuba-Samurai: Oh ho! THAT was just warm-up. This. Is the real duet...
Tuba-Sensei: Then, i'm looking forward to this new duet, Tuba-Samurai...
After boss fight: "After 52 years of war and duels and corrosion...i have finally been put down by a worthy enemy...a death wish i so longed for for 52 years....i care not of my self preservation unlike my tuban brothers that live on to get more honours and decorations by the tuban king or fight and die honourably for him like what they did during his glourious crusades
But finally i shall die like my brothers during his great crusades...
You have fufilled my wishes.....thank you warrior...now i may rest peacefully and as a gift take my sword as a sign of respect and honour use it well, use it wisely warrior and good luck on whatever adventures you'll face for my raging spirit shall help you in your fights."
The tuban samurai had lost his final battle
His dust flew with the wind in an harmonious syncrony
And from then on his spirit rests well with his fallen brothers from the skies.
SUCESSFULLY OBTAINED: WARRIORS TUBAN SPIRIT 1/5.
K man , I'm tellin u, this should be an RPG game with lots of bosses and expense gameplay , that would be crazy, I would buy it, imagine that with the samurai DLC, gunner DLC , and the rest... mann, I would love a game like that...
There's a couple games in development, and even a discord server to organize the whole thing. So you may not be waiting too long
I am actually DMin a dnd campain about this Tuba lore
Imagine no DLC? bruh Wanting DLC... Shame on you
I would play that, it would be incredibly cool.
Please dont tell me i would need to get a DLC for the tuba mech warior
"The path to victory is bloody, Maestro. You of all people should know this."
This is my favorite Tuba Warriors track so far! Really well done!
1st half:I wish test your might warrior, may the kings spirit rest among your shoulder.
2nd half:you have fought well!I shall show you a honorable battle!!!!
This is the 3rd most godly tuba themes, thank you for making this
His fighting style is unknown to warriors within the empire, but none can deny his skill.
A great and wise man once said
"If it makes music, it's an instrument. If it makes noise, it's a problem."
One day, this tuba/violin/instruments meme gonna get a game and I'll definitely buy it!
The tuba samurai, the nemesis of the string kingdom warrior, the silent yet deadly.
Tubas went from an instrument to a culture
And a way of life
I have never been so in love in my life with a peice of music this is majestic and so amazing props to you man for making such an amazing masterpeice
Well, thank you friend. I certainly did my best
“so childish to learn the way of the wood….. i studied to way of the brass and now i shall slay you and have your head taken as my trophy”
From 0:00 to 0:59 is talking with the Tuba Samurai. At 1:00 though the player might looked at him at a wrong angle and the Tuba Samurai just starts attacking with a fearsome battlecry!
. Master tu,ba Attack log .
Samurai slash: Samurai slash can be used multiple times depending on how focused you are in that moment he’s attack can go to five points of damage to 20 points of damage
Block: Block is a pretty common move but unlike the 10 times someone can do it in a row Master tu,ba can only do it five times but he does have an increase speed bonus every time he does that and he can do five blocks every round before his turn increasing his speed to 50
Description: Master tu,ba has 200 health and 50 armor health at some point in the game his powers can be boosted his speed could go to 100 and other attacks would double their damage
Ok everyone’s talking about making a video game out of this, but *what of TTRPG?*
Like, the classes would be the same, but new (or modified) races like woodwind, brass, percussion and string, with a cool medieval-instrument kingdom storyline
“So,you have come to ridicule me too?”
“I wont have it”
I recommend the mallets of vibration for the long range attacks on the second phase. They really helped me beat him.
"Welcome traveler. I know you came not for wares nor tea, but allow me to offer you my best of each. For it is the way of the shamisrai to give a fair fight"
This may be the best one so far. This is the Black Knight, protoman, Pokémon rival type character.
He shows up every so often to challenge you.
Tuba Samurai Lore:
He once was a knight of the tuba army, but after *King Tuba I* Passes away and *King Tuba II* replaces him, he was objected the order of *King Tuba II* to attack other kingdom so he can be the most powerfull Instrument in the whole *Music World* , thus he left the army and take on an adventure to the *String Kingdom* .
To unlock this secret boss, you have to go at the back of Tuba King's Palace and cut down the sakura tree
He, who traveled into the tuba Kingdom from the Far Far East. He, who challenged the Tuba King for a fight and as such earned his respect and a position of the head of the Royal Guard. He, who is skilled in the art of sword as well as in the ways of ancient philosophy
The Tuba Samurai, the Warrior of the Heavens
I feel like he would be a very fast paced boss just constantly swinging at you not giving you time to recover.
This guy's theme is like that really strong DLC boss that you can only get through doing a rigorous questline.
I LOVE when this pops out in my recommended
"I thought you to be an honorable man, maestro"
"it seems I was wrong"
He turns to face you
"I respect you..."
"So I won't hold back"
Someone needs to make a game with all tuba bosses. There are so many of them at this point
"Heavenly sovereign, my brass is a humble extension of your will. I fight for honor."
1:41 my god that goes hard
i cant stop imagining tuba samurai walk slowly in eerie atmosphere like dark soul bosses swinging shamizen like warhammer while i desperately dodging its attack and try to land a hit with my character
I was playing this during my dark souls playthrough.thank you for making it
As a representative of the tuba community discord I can confirm that this.... is a bop
I like how honourable this guy is. In fact, if you beat him without doing anything he deems “dishonourable” he’ll actually give you his weapon, instead of you having to go through 5 trials to unlock its full potential.
0:03 when you pick the nice dialogue option
0:59 when you pick the mean dialogue option
That's a fantastic world lore you've got going there, man. I wonder How it might unfold
A menacing foe indeed, alas, we shall be the maestro this time around
ahem... *yooooooooo*
this is what i call good music. and one winged angel too. but still, man. what u done is real art. best of luck in your work in yt.
Tuba Knight's best friend and also his only rival.
Man, when it picks up it really makes my imagination go wild. Amazing work, I really like how you can perfectly distinguish the different rhythms of both phases.
The best DLC ive ever bought so far
Just the memory of the fight I have against him give me shivers.
I can see a performance going on inside of my head as I listened to this. Great job!
Who thought it would say YOOOOOO at the start?
That's an amazing piece there you made
Originating from stutgart Germany, before being raised in Japan for "experimental combat initiative_ samurai tuba, or chinyu offcheinz, learned in ways of the samurai down to the culture and language, he's had many jobs before the assassination of you, in Yakuza, bodyquarding, many things, he is not to underestimated, and he will not underestimate you. There is a 20% chance to drop the item "low bassed shamisen" a unique weapon that, when used, will apply a effect soley to this weapon only "dishonored"
Tuba Samurai is the true final boss in ghost of tsushima but you need to do everything in the game and play only as the samurai to fight him.
Yep this going on the playlist
The item he drops is really fun to goof around with since it has two modes. I prefer the second since it lets you parry the tuba mercenary attacks, but the first is fun since it lets you one shot most low-mid level enemies. Probably one of the most versatile weapons and the best boss fight in the game.
at first, the duel starts off like any duel, both sides eyeing each other as tension builds while they have their hands on their sheathes in preparation
BUT THEN: 1:00
"While you were wasting your time with strings, i studied the brass."
Kinda reminds me of the Darknut fight from Twilight Princess: in the first phase, he's heavily armored with strong attacks to boot, but in the second phase, he sheds of most of his armor and has the highest speed stat of any enemy in the game.
From a far away dynasty, out of the reign of King Tuba II is a legendary warrior, a Shogun of death, a Ninja of sound. The Tuba Samuri.
this legendary master of the arts has mastered bolth tuba and woodwind styles of combat, gracefully combining them into one to hypnoticaly destroy his enemies, he weilds the body of a killed banjo of some kind as his main weapon while having a tuba gun on standby
Fabuloso. Espero que algun dia se pueda jugar algo referente a este mundo de los "Tubas"... Esta es la mejor cancion que escuche.
