I suppose having the fear of losing 100+ mil ISK gives you the thrill that is part of the fun of exploring, but It's so much more relaxed doing this with a Probe completely fitted for around 1 mil. Just one successful wormhole expedition pays several times over for the equipment. Of course, not using t2 modules and rigs makes it a little harder too to be successful.
Don't warp to a gate at 100km, if they have a bubble on the gate you will land in it. if out gate is within dscan range you should see if they got a bubble up + fleet. if its not in range, try to warp to a planet or belt (not moons) within Dscan range of the out gate. if the out gate is isolated far from anything, try warping to the other side of the system far from any other gates, then warp to 100km from out gate.(if they have a bubble up you will land in it but you will be at an off angle so your chances of getting uncloaked by a can or ship is low.
Yeah I use moons sometimes planets or other stuff mainly so I don't actually hit the bubbles at angles people expect. Warping to 100 didn't make me land in normal bubbles though. Drag bubbles if at the right angle for them would but normal ones not so much unless im missing something. Also whats wrong with moons? Generally asking as I thought they where the safest things to warp to since there is so many of them, no NPC's ect. As always very usefull stuff and all noted :)
@@DisownedHero there are moons with bubbles on the warp in spot with decloak cans in them. warp to a moon , land in a bubble, get scramed and popped by an outpost. I know it has changed somewhat since they nerfed the mobile bubbles, it was always a thing we avoided in nul back then. It's probably safe now to do it... force of habit ... sorry.
There's also cap-dead warping - Repeatedly Warp+cancel to completely drain the capacitor, look how much energy it consumes, then warp once you have just enough energy NOT to warp all the way. You'll drop out mid-warp and if you did it properly you should be in D-Scan range. Saved me from a gatecamp once or twice...
Also I should either be pvp or explo not a mix. On an astero swap the scram for a cargo scanner so u can cherry pick and save time. Also something that is really popular is using an ares to ninja loot relic sites. So fast and so hard to catch u will have a lot more luck with you level of experience.
Hmmm. Disagree a little with the mix. Yes it's not pvp focused but in wh used to run into tech 1 and tech 2 exploration frigs that this can easily take out dispite the lost mid.
It seems you do a lot of hacking runs in WH's, maybe you should do a hacker hunting expedition stream. Might prove to be interesting. Be the 1 hunting hackers this this time.
If they know what they're doing, they're extremely slippery though. Fast frigate align times, warp stabs up the wazoo, etc. That combined with decloak lock delays makes it very hard to lock down any of them if they just have some basic awareness. Unless you use a blingy smartbombing T3 or something :P Or a cloaky pull-bubble interdictor in a pipe system that leads to a dead end, but that's not WHs. But yeah, would be interesting to see how he approaches it, what issues you run into doing it, how to mitigate them etc.
Nice run Hero. Just spent about 2 hrs running thru Provi and surrounds. Had about the same luck. But it was fun. Was in a site when 9 battle ships cyno'ed in to the system that when I said ok I'm out.
if you're in a astero or other frig, i would not worie to much about it, if its just battleships and they jumped into the system, more likely they are not there for you. If they were hunting you they would have had a fast tackle then cyno the BS on top of you. Does not make sense to cyno off grid to just warp to you.
thats a shit fit for data. mwd's get disabled by warp scrams. you didnt fit a warp stab. if you only doing data and not doing pvp. you need an afterburner and warpstabilizer. so if you get into a warp bobble you can burn out faster and warp out if you get pinned. having polycarbon will help you align out faster. nano paste is great for repairing damaged fits from overheating, but are you going to be overheating? only fits to gain from it are rep and wmd. you'd do better with a armor rep t2. dps boost is great for pvp, but this is suppose to be data not combat fit. so no...
It's a bit of a mix from what I used to use in J space. Would quit often run into tech 1 and 2 exploration drugs which are easy targets. The reps ect are just in case. Would rather be over fit for the odd easy kill then under. Yes the mwd gets shutoff by scrams but honestly using it then cloaking in a bubble has saved me a few times. Moving at 3000 meters/s as opposed to 1000 ish defo saved me from that first camp I got stuck in. They got within 5000 meters even with the mwd speed boost
It is a trick, it wasnt DESIGNED to be used that way, and players were the ones who found it out. Without being told by other people, new players would never know to do it.

welcome to the restrictions Alphas face
fantastic video mate really helpful for new players!
dude how to you warp and cloack up, I've never been able to do this right
Lovely skin on that Astero
How did he get the Eve video to run at normal speed and the video of him talking to run at 3x?
All in the editing my friend

No that's fine please keep telling me stuff like this :).
Never new bubbles at moons where a thing tbh but will look out for it now. Thanks

In WH yes I agree. This was in null tho. Keep
Up the good
Work. 😁
I’ll send u a fit in game later for a ninja ares I reason Ull love it.
@@TheBurninghedge Awesome. Really appreciate it matey :)
using ares to relic/data mine is good if you got max hacking skills to make up for the lack of ship bonuses.
Yep rule of 6 is golden learn it
@@abdool651 fit a cargo scanner
Rule of six!!!! Plz plz look it up on RUclips you will be 100x more successful.
Well he didnt really fail it just mean he be a little faster is all and yes that not a bad thing but 100x more successful meh
And the rule of not using a fucking astero. People who use Asteros are just disrespecting explorers.
Asteros are shit and they cost 50 million. It is like buying a lambo for racing irl, thats what it is like buying an astero for exploring.
@@fruit.8302 What ships for exploring would you prefere? Thanks
@@mynameisforrest He'd prefer to play Minecraft like the dirty casual scrub that he is.
can we get timestamps for the blazing astero's??
Ahh good point. Yeah ill see what I can do probably wont be till tomorrow now unfortunately
2:59 we're in nullsec
Could you possibly talk the rest of the band to lay down a few tracks? Having Kraftwerk do a soundtrack for Eve Online would be killa!
If there’s a gate out of scan range, and I have no bookmarks, I’ll launch combat probes, and check it that way. 😀

cloak mwd trick is not really a trick it like part of the gameplay that 96% of people know and been doing for years
I know. Always worth mentioning for new players though :)
