Excuse me, can anyone please tell me, just how the F-35 is able to detect, track and target enemy stealth aircraft from BVR (beyond visual range) please? And when you can't, can you then explain to me, what use are these aircraft, in all real terms, today? Thanks.

Stealth is used to ‘knock down the door’. The western doctrine of fighting a war dictates that air dominance must be established as soon as possible. So stealth fighters enter the area and go after the land based air defence systems. During possible air to air encounters stealth jets will be guided to their targets bij radar planes. To detect an enemy stealth plane poses a problem, but the enemy stealth plane has the exact same problem. But the advantage is with the party that establishes air dominance first. Air defence only works if land based and airborne units can see in the sky. That combined with ground based missiles and jets that can intercept. Once the ground based units are knocked out you are left with nothing. Just a bunch of expensive planes that can’t see and have to cover a very large of air space on their own. That is why the F-35 has the external hard points installed in the wing. Once the stealth capability is no longer needed the jets can fly their missions with more payload.
yeah. excellent footage. godspeed! =))
