I saw this fantastic production twice at the Phoenix Theatre in London.......they were doors, released from their hinges, which were leading into the wood. I actually have a piece from that set which was thrown in a skip when the show closed.....a row of gold acorn's.
I saw it and was mesmerised by it - it was such a well conceived production and acted the hell out of. Loved the cosy drawing room 'wood' of act one and the creepy as fuck 'wood' of act two.
@@kboyer1 She can act fine but physically this is not great. For example, she yells give me the boy, and the other run to protect him, but she just stands there. I'm sure direction had to do with this as well.
That little witches hat at a quirky angle, is iconic!
Her best musical role in a landmark production! I saw this so many times!
@@fountainchain126 she was terrible in it.
@@doyouknow8385 She was frickin' glorious
Is there more of this production?
What were those thing that dropped at the end??

Her physical acting is lacking but her vocals are amazing
Why do you say that???? I think her acting is great. This production was totally different than the Broadway production

@@elipeel2641 yells give me the boy???? What are you talking about????
@@kboyer1 At 1:12. And I guess she sings it more than yells it. I've commonly seen it yelled rather than sung. I apologise for the confusion.
Now this vocal performance reeeeeally makes me wish LuPone had taken the Broadway role. Maybe she’ll do it in concert at some point. One can wish!
