I saw Kathryn play live at a beer festival in Cornwall and i have to own up and say "I didn't know who she was until then" i was totally memorised by her voice and music and now own her album
Street Spirit Rows of houses all bearing down on me I can feel their blue hands touching me All these things into position All these things we'll one day swallow whole fade out again fade out This machine will, will not communicate These thoughts and the strain I am under Be a world child, form a circle Before we all go under fade out again fade out again Cracked eggs, dead birds, scream as they fight for life I can feel death, can see its beady eyes All these things into position All these things we'll one day swallow whole fade out again fade out again Immerse your soul in love Immerse your soul in love
I've never heard anything like this, and her other tracks. I just found her tonight after watching the credits of Outlaw/King on Netflix. She's beyond words.
Actually, you grammar there was indeed incorrect; as "Bad singing and you can barely hear her." is a sentence fragment. If this sentence fragment were to be left alone, a comma would be necessary between "singing" and "and" as there is always a comma before "and" and "but". www.businessinsider.com/a-guide-to-proper-comma-use-2013-9 grammar.ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/fragments.htm
Hm. I like it, as it sounds to me even more fragile than the original. I like that piano sound, the subtle moog bass, the fragile voice, and that she dared not to play the complete guitar riff (leaving out the final notes). And the original is to me one of the best songs ever written. And, btw, if anybody wants to correct my (probably) wrong grammar: Please do so. In german. My mother tongue. Of course, in flawless german grammar. :-P

❤️ young uns take note.
I love this. (But still I yearn for Thom. Nobody else's voice on this track will do).
I've heard X Factor covers better than this... Awful
how is this not viral......
Because it's horrible. Bad singing and you can barely hear her.
Art Mac can i please correct your grammar it's horrid. "Because it's horrible, bad singing. You can barely hear her." :)

would love to hear the critics sing this?
i am flying.....
👍👍😍
Close yours and float away........
She putts herr massive big print on this ......wonderful.
Beautiful, she sings and plays from her soul. I don't really see how liking it is edgy, more edgy to say you don't like it I reckon.
Though I love the way they play it , this style of singing is quite trendy and needs to end...
Totally agree, it's annoying
not really familiar with it. any examples?
Not even close to the quality of Radiohead. feel free to pretend it is to seem edgy though kids
20 000 x more sexy than the original tho i luv both
this sux
