LIVE YOUR DREAM LIFE IN 2025 shorturl.at/8D1v9 🎄MERRY CHRISTMAS🎄THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT THIS YEAR! 🎄I'LL CATCH YOU IN 2025. ✨
❤ I learned this year to banish all shirts, blouses and otherwise ‘cold to the touch’ tops in winter. I have so much more peace wearing knitted / jersey tops only. When the shirts and blouses were hanging in my wardrobe, I always chose the jersey tops over them. I put them all away for the short Scottish summer and I expect I’ll be decluttering a whole lot of them.
I totally get that and agree. I would never wear shirt cotton in winter, even as a layer 🙅♀️
I think I learned this year that I’m naturally gravitated toward the things I loved as a little girl. Skirts, plaid, bows, and patent leather Mary Janes - just a more adult version haha! 2024 felt like a year of truly reconnecting with my girlhood and finally banishing the “not like other girls”/“tomboy” phase of my life. Not just in fashion, but all things.
I personally love simple clothing but I want to edge it up with accessories. Love a harness or even a corset and edgy shoes. basically black and simple with a twist of alt/goth.
😍
I bought a really pretty ,green sweater. I got so many compliments that day. I’m glad that I splurged and bought that sweater for the festive season. 💚
Worth it for festive spirit 🎄
I have a room between my house and my garage that isn’t heated. I wanted to put a live Christmas tree in there. I saw a Norfolk pine and brought it home. I live in Virginia a few hours away from Norfolk VA and thought this will work great. Then I discovered there is a Norfolk Island in Australia and that is were this tree is from and it needs to stay above 50F/10C so I put it inside the house. Next I bought a Dwarf Alberta Spruce. I got home and my family all said, “Oh Alberta, Australia”. I thought you might enjoy my Australian Christmas tree story.
I am so enjoying the class. Thank you for taking the time to make it! I hope you enjoy a holiday filled with luxury, artistry, and community.
😆Yes, we have Norfolk pines all along our coastline! 💙 And we have a Vancouver Arts Centre in Albany (Western Australia) a forty minute drive from Denmark (western Australia). 😎
Merry Christmas Patricia! This year I learned that a stiff fabric button up is completely not me. I love the look on other people and bought the highest quality white cotton button up after years of waiting (it was more than I would typically pay), only to put it on and have an immediate 'no' reaction. Frees up my mental space for that piece! Looking forward to more amazing videos in 2025!
I loved watching your festive outfits! It really shows how versatile your wardrobe is.
All the outfits looked lovely, especially the one with the white dress and black sequins blazer. I've really liked the 'lazy glam' look that you have going, and I'm not sure if you've done a video yet talking about but what the "essential" pieces needed to have a lazy glam wardrobe? What advice would you give to someone who's looking at trying out this look?
Loved the white with the black blazer and gold accessories.
How about a festive red nail polish ?
Perfect Timing Patricia And I've been waiting for this video for so long and I am in love with your Christmas Tree and you are looking just Wow in White Dress With Silver Heels💖💖🤗🤗
Oh thank you! Merry Christmas! 💜
Love your Christmas outfit. 🎄❤
I discovered this year that I prefer simple designs… no messy patterns. I thought that I really liked embroidered patterns on clothing, but found myself never reaching for these pieces. There’s still a few pieces that have price tags on them. I had an idea of wanting to dress in a specific way (almost costume like), but I couldn’t make myself dress up like this.
I am making outfits now, instead of one off pieces, and really curating my choices and colors. It has truly simplified my life.
Love your tree! 💛simply beautiful!!! Happy holidays
Was that Gary's bed you put up on that high shelf? I thought he liked to lie on that!
❤
Good observation 😄 I have two of those, I washed one. That’s where the spare is stored. 🎀
@@patriciamycykOh good! Thank you for explaining that. Gary always looks so comfortable when he is on his bed. Watching him is so calming for me. I also love your nature segments, and watching you cook.
A very happy new year to you and the little furry guy.
With lots of love from Gwen in Olympia, 60 miles south of Seattle in Washington state .....
❤❤❤
Patricia! 3:50 Those lilac sleepers with that outfit are actually adorable! That was a cute moment. I want adorable lilac slippers. Where does one acquire these?
K MART 😆🤫
??? KMart??? 🤣I thought KMart went out of business... 🤣@@patriciamycyk
Where is other half of cake? 😮
I would like one big piece 😊looks so delicious ❤
i've learned to steady my hand on poshmark! there's items out there that fill my gaps etc, but i still have not touched the fabric or tried it on. & those items are not returnable unless misrepresented.
now, i want to get to "know" the exact item from seeing it in store or in an unbiased video review, as well as trying it on in store or having the garment measurements.
Hi Patricia. As someone who’s very much in Helmut Lang and Rick Owens and is based in Sydney, I almost want to travel to check out that store lol.
Thanks for discussing the idea behind luxury purchases. Hope to see more of that in 2025 as I’m also considering that approach.
It's really good. ☺
Yes, fewer nicer things are my goal. Second hand luxury items for 2025.
I audibly gasped at 16:20
💜
🎄🐈🌊🌲💛☺️ x
You are always so perfect and so stunning. I was so happy to see you that you have done the one thing that I find myself doing time it again leaving the price tag on the bottom of the shoe so you sit down at a party cross your legs and everyone can see that your shoes were on sale and cost $49. Thank you for being human.!,,
Isn’t Gary going to destroy that tree?
Hi Patricia
I’ve been following you for years, you spoke to passionately about the war in Ukraine, was wondering how you feel about the genocide in Gaza?
No response means you don’t care?
Thanks! 🌍🍃
No respons means you don t care is pretty rude.
@@Karincl7 is that all you got from the initial comment? Hiprocrisy & no double standards is rude.
