That is probably the first movie trailer that had me in tears. As a police officer and a dad, I see the horrible situations these kids are in and the abuse and neglect done to them all the time. I’m going to have to get my head in the right space to see this, and I intend to, but I think anyone who doesn’t understand the plight of these kids should watch this. That scene where the kid was scared of the bathtub was very hard to watch. There are many real scenes just like that in my head, it was very real. Superb acting.
Angel Studios is the only studio right now that's telling stories that actually matter. And they're not afraid of what the left or anyone else thinks about it. Thats worthy of respect, and they need our support.

@danielvincent4292 Alright, they're the only studio I know of telling stories that matter. Everyone else is making superheroes, actions, dramas, or shitty romance films. I still watch plenty of movies. They're a good way to pass the time. But none of them hold any real-world value.
@@twasgracethattaught Drama pretty much just means a non-genre film... so Sound of Hope is very much a drama film. A24 and NEON are both studios that have been consistently putting out great, original films

This looks like a promising movie with a good message. Sadly, I’m not looking forward to a bunch of scumbags who will likely attack this movie and say how it’s “not true”, just like they did with SOUND OF FREEDOM. But I hope this movie does well in any way it can
Facts.
I'm sick and tired of people saying that about good or even great movies.
Sound of freedom was really good. I really like how they didn't show the horrors that those children went through but it still got the message across.
I just assume it's spiritual warfare only someone demonic would say something negative about this movie
If it's 1) true and 2) well done, then it deserves to do well.
Sound of Freedom is, in fact, the heavily exaggerated story of Tim Ballard, who was fired by his own organization for being a sex offender.
He never went into the jungle to rescue a little girl, the Honduras photoshoot never happened, his organization tends to confuse sex work with actual sex trafficking and his own organization has exaggerated their work in real life, not just in the movie.
Sound of Freedom is a circlejerk made by and watched by people who imagine themselves as heroes stopping trafficking but too cowardly to do it themselves.
What deranged and guilty people attack is artistic license, claiming any amount of that makes it not true. They want to claim that because it wasn’t a 100% documentary then they can discredit it and deny it, but the reality is, sound of freedom downplayed the issues it didn’t exaggerate them. Tim Billard actually rescued far more children with his team. And that’s a fact. Even the part of the story about the necklace was true. But how things resolved in the jungle were made swift and very clean cut 🔪 to move the story. More than one beauty queen has been guilty of what that story showed. Truly this is also an incredible movie about a difficult topic. This movie looks important and amazing too.

My god, that trailer was powerful. You can have Hollywood bringing out shams of movies tryna fake kindness and good values, but they can't hold a damn candle to the REAL THING. The amount of humanity in that one video is absolutely beautiful. Definitely wanna watch the whole entire movie💙

My mom adopted 6 kids. I have custody of four of them, since she died from cancer in 2018. It’s really hard, but I would love to be able to adopt more.

I cried as I watched the trailer.
I am so glad that there's a spotlight on children needing to be adopted. I've been a foster parent for 5 years and last month my husband and I adopted 3 biological brothers from foster care. Now I'm a mother of 4 with with all my kids being 4 and under. So my hands 🙏🏿 and heart ❤️ are full. I started a non profit this year to help others to adopt sibling groups from foster care. 💕
My wife and I just became foster parents again. In the past we adopted our former foster kids. At 7 years old my adopted daughter was molested in her grandmother’s house. We adopted her and her brother. There is such a big need for families to become foster parents. Not gonna lie it was definitely some rough times and both kids needed counseling, but I never regretted being a foster parent, then adopting siblings.

I would love to see more children adopted than being in the foster care system. I was in the system throughout my life with 17 different placements but was rejected by a lot of them because no one wanted me. They labeled me as a problem child putting me on multiple different meds that I did not need only love was what I needed and GOD gave me that.
Looks good! Sound of Freedom was my favorite film since....not sure but best movie since...I forget but it is amazing, and the Cabrini executive producer Eduardo Verastegui's Mother Mary movie has been my most anticipated movie besides the Passion of the Christ sequel. As a true believer of Jesus Christ my heart aches for all children in foster care. I see some comments making this about race when in reality the foster care system is diverse, just one Google search and you can see the stats for yourself. This is a collective issue, not a race issue. May the Lord use this movie to move the hearts of His people. ❤
This movie should win almost every Oscar. It truly was a great film that dealt with a very serious topic. That being said, the film was outstanding in almost every aspect.

I love the part where the rich white pastor was shown to be a hypocrite and didn't advocate for the poor black church doing good. And the black characters were not demonized or caricatured. Wonder what Matt Walsh thought about that? (I doubt he saw the movie)

What in the world does that sentence even mean?
Story worth telling: Something that truly terrifies you, and/or makes you lose your $hit and pee your pants laughing, and/or makes you chuckle many times at it's very clever dialogue and plots, and/or contains true human pathos and intensity that gives you chills and pause. In other words, ALL superhero movies are out.
The Sopranos checks all these boxes in my opinion. It will always be the greatest piece of entertainment ever created by a human. The Wire a close second.
One of my best friends, when she and her brother were young, their parents started to adopt kids out of foster care. I knew them during a lot of that- not at the beginning, but for their youngest siblings- and they're incredible people. I know how hard it has been. I know a lot of the challenges these kids faced before they were put in the system, and those they faced after adoption. But that family has loved their kids the best they know how and has never given up or turned away from them no matter the situation. It's a real inspiration.
I know their story best, but I know an awful lot of families who adopt out of the system. The pastor of our church and his wife set the tone, over 20 years ago, when they fostered and adopted all 4 of their children.
I'll often criticize the system for the policies it holds and the calls it consistently makes wrong, but I'll *never* criticize the families who only want to be there for the children. Regardless of the reasons why a child is taken from their parents, the trailer is correct in saying that the state can't be a family for them.
So yes, I'll see this movie. These stories should be told, and we should listen. I'll be sure to bring a tissue box, though, because just the trailer had me in tears.

There are so many amazing mind blowing stories with good people that its an absolute tragedy there are not more films like this.
I saw this movie today. It was excellent and superbly acted.
Daily Wire should make a movie about Frederic Chopin, famous 19th century Polish virtuoso pianist and composer, and should cast Timothee Chalameaut if they can as he would be perfect for the role. And since Michael Knowles is a former actor, he can play opera composer Vincenzo Bellini who was a friend of Chopin and who Chopin admired, since Bellini was Sicilian/Italian and Michael Knowles has Sicilian/Italian roots and Michael Knowles looks the part, based on the depictions of Bellini at the time.

Looks good but IMO “The fight for kids begins July 4th”, the fight for Kids has been an ongoing battle it started before sound of freedom and will continue long past Sound of Hope: the story of possum trot.
The fight for children never ends but is still worth fighting.
