A huge thanks to Mike Brady from Ocean Liner Illustrations for allowing me to use the new Titanic model from the upcoming 'Ocean Liner Explorer' in this short animated video depicting the RMS Titanic on her Maiden Voyage in 1912. The pride of the White Star Line and the Crown Jewel of the British Fleet. She would go onto serve a long and prosperous career, carrying some of the most famous celebrities and politicians of her time.
As of note, I much prefer her 1912 configuration as opposed to her 1918 refit. The larger B Deck windows of 1918 (whilst allowing for staterooms to have far greater views of the ocean, look horrible in my opinion compared to the 1912 layout.) - It's a real shame they had to scrap her suddenly in 1935, I think she could have gone on for decades longer

I'm somehow have theory, my theory that when Titanic on her maiden voyage, the event still goes as history, the ship find itself on a calm night on the Atlantic, somehow received ice warning from other ship, when they spotted the iceberg they managed to turn away, our they still manage hit the iceberg but it only cause light damage and only flooded her 3 forward compartment our so
The ship then stop and water managed to be pump out from the ship, then after everything seem clear, they continue the voyage and resulting titanic arrival at New York got delayed twice

Wasn’t expecting an upload like this, but I’m not complaining. This was a pleasant music video to watch. The instruments of “Don’t Dream it’s Over” really evokes a mellow, nautical-esque vibe that seems apt for cruising/sailing. Imagine actually being at sea onboard a ship like the Titanic vibing to this music. That would make this even better.
Not like the music used for the recent episode of The Acolyte.
I just wanna mention how amazing that water wake looks, its some of the coolest signs of the improvement in your animations

There’s never a better time to be an “Ocean liner enthusiast” as (most call it) with work of this sheer quality is coming out by the day. This animation is some of the best 3D animation I’ve personally ever seen period. With a bit of extra detail (like rust and areas where paint has faded, similar to what was done for the Titanic models in the 1997 movie) this could be passed off as real colorized video shot in 2024 of these magnificent pieces of 1910s machinery. This is absolutely phenomenal work and I am all for it!!
The end with the music fading out and the darker atmosphere it looks just like the movie, hell it might even could fit inside i wouldnt notice, amazing work !

I’m gonna assume the description is lore for project Britannica because as far as I’m aware the Titianic wasn’t scrapped in 1935 or redesigned in 1918….

Huh, now this is something I didn't know I needed, two of my favorite things in my life: RMS Titanic and 80s pop music lol
First of all, love the song choice. It really gives the video a very mellow vibe. And of course, Titanic looks amazing as always. And that WAKE, it looks so GORGEOUS!! 🙌🏻💙🙌🏻💙

My God, this is absolutely AMAZING.
The one tiny detail that I loved that actually made me want to squeal (lol) was when the camera panned fore to aft and we could see through the portholes to the interior and see the sun shining in from the other side. I want to sob with joy.

She was put in storage in 1935. That's why she's in the 1980s.
All the ships or almost all the ships are about. Even Luisitania. Who sank.
Britannic got exploded and sunk in another video.
Maybe The Mesh repairs them. By eating passengers and vermin.

I had heard some rumours saying she wasn't scrapped in 35'. Apparently some guys working in a dock near Newcastle said they saw her silhouette on the horizon in '87. Don't know what to think considering the recent news about Olympic. Personally i prefer Titanic's later refits, especially the interior changes in the 20's. The 1918 refit made her outside look a bit strange, but her interior changes were beautiful. I found it strange how her saloon was repainted pale blue in the 20's.

You are getting damn good at those wakes, Jack. Fantastic work, especially on the waves that radiate outwards. (My only tiny quibble would be the splashing at the bow still feels a _liiiiii’l_ too energetic, like the water’s splashing faster than the ship itself is pushing it; and maybe shorten it up a tiny bit … but that really is just a nitpick at this point.)
Also, never heard this tune before, but it’s pretty nice. And if I ever hear it again, I know this is what I’ll be thinking of, lol.

1918 REFIT, THAT'S WHAT IT IS IN THE PB UNIVERSE!!. I just thought that White star just copy-pasted Olympic and renamed her Titanic in the PB universe, but a 1918 refit, that's what got rid of her A deck screens and made her an Olympic look-alike!. I can't thank you enough for coming up with that. A part of me likes to think that you saw my comment on the interview video and you went, "Huh, I should probably have a reason for why Titanic doesn't have her screens and everything else...f*ck it, 1918 refit.". You probably didn't, but I like to think that you did.
I didn't even realize this was PB until I went back and read the damn information.
Of course... the Titanic doesn't seem to be scrapped at all, does she...

@@QueenMaryStan at first i was assuming the titanic still sink and split in two, but the break up so clean that they managed to salvage it, but I think the maiden voyage go uneventful, but only got delayed after the new york near missed and the collision with the iceberg that only flooded 3-4 of her compartment, then continue on to their voyage, resulting titanic maiden voyage got delayed twice

"Scrapped" is a cover story to tell the public why these ships are gone. But in reality Project Britannica has them.

one time my great-great grandpa was sailing on the empress of japan in scotland and caught a glimpse of a titanic-like ship, he said "it had an odd extension to the bridge, and had towering davits that challenged the height of the funnels" or something like that, i only know this because he told my grandpa, which then my grandpa told me.
