Yes due to wanting to push myself I did do more stitching than normal. Yes happy to do more stitch with mes. Especially to tell all about putting in 24 teaspoons of cloves instead of 2 teaspoons. 😂😂. Let’s just say it was a ms moment. Actually it was with scaling the recipe it was hard to tell. I showed the recipe to Jess and she was confused as well. Lucky it was a really old box of cloves and it really just coloured the chutney, didn’t over power it. Thank goodness 😅 but thought you would get a good laugh out of it. Yes instead of using 1 1/2 teaspoons I thought it said 11 or 12 teaspoons. That was a whole box. 😂🤣. That is why it is so dark. Boy did I laugh. 🤭 had to try it to make sure it was edible. Thank goodness it tasted fine. Dave has used half a jar in the last week. Oh dear it isn’t going to last a year. I was thinking we were done with making chutney but I think we will be making more yet. Dave needs to pick more tomatoes 🍅 today. Just as well with the way he is adding tomatoes and chutney to everything. Very little stitching today. Having a quiet day. Actually not quiet as the digger and trucks 🛻 are going past the house all the time, started at 🕢 7:30am. Having our track to the loading ramp made bigger for trucks to turn around easily. We have our own rock quarry on the property. So with the digger and trucks here to move the rocks from the quarry. This is the first time we have opened our quarry and moved any rock. 🪨 I’m pleased you enjoyed the stats. I meant to say it is just interesting for me to know what I have done. Home made chutney is the best! Yum!!! I’ll have to do something with our tomatoes soon too, as one frost and they will be wrecked. Funny you have Peter Rabbit in the garden, does that make Dave Mr McGregor?! Take care, Nic x
The homemade chutney tasted so good Dave has already used one jar. lol. He is putting it on everything. Adding it into everything as well. For example when mashing potatoes chutney was added as well. I don’t think we made enough for him to use it on everything like salt. 🧂 Dave was starting to look like Mr McGregor he had a beard started. I kept saying if I wanted to kiss a mouse I would go find one. I heard the shaver going this morning. I stopped kissing him. 😂😂 The rabbit is in hiding when he is out in the garden 🪴 but he has eagle 🦅 eyes looking when inside. He didn’t like sitting and looking at the driveway as he couldn’t see his garden when we moved the lounge around. It was so funny he was saying he didn’t like the view. The problem was he couldn’t keep an eye out for the rabbits 🐇 and complained. 😂😂 hugs 🤗 Tania.
Hi I get my thread from AliExpress from the Factory Store. They are always quick and get your order correct. What I love is you ask them for a price for how many skeins you need. Then they email you a form and you fill it in and email it back. Pay them and they will send you the skeins. Super easy. If you haven’t used cxc before I would just try it for one project the first time to see if you like it. Some people hate it. Some love it. It is a bit softer and fluffier. There is no right and wrong way. For example with dmc I make sure I use it the right way with one thread or you get knots. You don’t have to worry with cxc. Cxc is also thicker than dmc. So 20 count 1 thread is perfect. 18 count 2 threads may be too thick. So you see what I mean depending on what you stitch I would try one project and see what you think. If you love it then you can do more projects. I started small and now most of my projects are cxc. And going forward all my projects will be cxc. Hugs 🤗 Tania.

I have already started the Animal Panorama I have nearly completed page 1. 😂That Halloween Afghan you can buy from 123 stitch or Stoney creek. It is called Halloween Village Afghan. I showed animal panorama in my last video. I didn’t work on it this video because it didn’t fit in my challenges. I didn’t think the wip warriors would have appreciated me saying a koala 🐨 was a pet. I just about said that so I could work on it. But didn’t think it was very polite. So will be working on it this week. Hugs 🤗 Tania.

@@SmallTownStitches It is an evenweave fabric so similar to 25 count that I love stitching on but easier to see, with it being 20 count.
