I'm so happy I found your channel :) :) Can't wait for more videos. I have a rescue female umbrella cockatoo that oh my goodness has been suffering constantly from hormonal issues and bad prolapses. One thing I notice often is that she stains, pushes pretty bad to poop :( :( WE have no idea if it's diet, lack of wet foods, calcium, vitamin A, etc. We take her to the vet, gets sutures and stays there a while and gets feed a strict diet with mostly Harrisons pellets. Can you do a video on prolapses pretty please many of us need all the help we can that regarding prolapses. I will appreciate everything you can tell me :) :)

Tony getting parrots to eat vegetable is easier said then done ! Especially when you can't babysit your parrots to eat on their own. I have Very very picky Congo Grey AND Sulpur Crested Cockatoo.
Now, my Timneh African Grey who was captured from the wild will eat pretty much anything I give him. For breakfast before i go to work, I throw 2 eggs ,some shell and a little olive oil in a nutri-blender.
I nuke a scrambled egg every single morning. My Cockatoo , and Quaker love it. I sometimes add broccoli, spinach, carrots as well as premium pellet.
At night when I get home, its hard to get them to eat good. My Cockatoo just throws the pellets off his cage like it amuses him. I don't know how to "FORCE" them on eating a well balanced diet.

Hi Tony. I have seen your videos and they are of great knowledge to me. I would like to know what would be the right temperature and humidity for the incubation period as well as brooder temp and humidity. As I have a few pairs of cockatiels and a few parents don't take good care of the chicks. Now I have bought an incubator cum brooder and would like to care for the chicks myself. Please let me know.

What about cranberries? ( in their natural state, not sugared and cooked or canned)

Im not sure the Australian cockatoos like the same foods as the Indonesian cockatoos . Sulphur crested vs aumbrella . The sulphurs definitely don't want sweet foods , so they'll eat apples but not pears cos pears are too sweet . They'll eat raw potatoes even slightly green potatoes but it ain't their favourite. They'll eat sunflower seeds all day long but it ain't good for them cos of the oil content. Grey sunflower seeds have less oil content . Sure they'll eat the seed blends made for parrots. If i give them bread , i prefer it be multigrain bread. I'm talking about the wild cockatoos that visit my place .
