Mine works fine I won't let anyone mod it I talk to base stations at 25 miles half power mobile no point in doing 300 watts when most ppl can't get back to u...just gonna burn it up.
Turn down the LED display for the camera. When too bright it blooms out. With everything turned up to max I'll bet that is one "dirty" radio with splatter all over the adjacent channels. You "people" who are peg the RF meter are all alike. I want a clean radio without adjacent channel splatter and the modulation is NOT above 100%. Who gives a shit if it megs the peter. I'll take my J.C. Penney's 6241 SSB radio over that piece of shit any day. With a 200 watt linear I can run a radio a lot better than that piece of shit. Oh yeah, I live in Tennessee too. In eastern TN.
