Bouncer is kinda ball that bounces almost half way and by the time it reaches the batsmen, it will be around his head. Very scary to face, usually done to rattle the batsmen in professional cricket. U can search for bouncers on youtube. But these players are amateurs and play for fun, so they are not that dangerous.

In cricket its all full toss, and its a fun ball.. Coz batsman cam easily hit the ball out of the ground....
But if i take full toss from basball perspective 👉👉 even if u through it directly theres only one thing can happen (air in swing or air out swing/ari down swing or up 🙃). What is actually a normal option for a bowler in cricket. is there any other else bowler can do in baseball?? I dont know actually baseball too much..
Also i have one more thought about baseball (if u want to hit a ball as how u want then why dont u take a perfect bat?? Baseball bat is so tiny, it has only 2 option, either ball will going for home run or it will goes in higher in air) lol 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ but in cricket batsman can play lots of nice tricky shoot without giving strong physical effort.. Thats the one of the nice thing..

The Trouble is if you are a talented american athlete you are going to be pushed into other sports, example If a tall fast bowler build you either going to be pushed into Basketball or American football or track and field.
Having said that the USA Rugby team is progressing at a fast rate and if they could get some talented american athletes away from American football, they may have more oppotunities to play in different countries Club Rugby Leagues, since there is a very limited number of players in the NFL, approx 50 to 60 per team and 32 teams so around 1600 to 2000 that make it to that top level.
May be if the money is there for Americans to make a living in America at Rugby, Cricket and Association Football, there may be more openness to have talented american athletes to play these sports and join the rest of the world.

@@my2l well in cricket too the pitch is too much different and tough than baseball pitch. (Firstly the day's conditions will decide how the play will be (temperature to wind speed to timing of the match (example if happens during night then moisture comes to play as it makes the ground wet and this makes the ball wet and then all movements of the balls gets restricted to the minimum and ball goes the boundary easily if hit along the ground while such advantages may not be there to the team which might have played before and the pitch was slow (may be good at beginning of match but as game progresses and ball and pitch gets too much used it starts to show movements and to find the rhythm to hit the ball is tough. Moreover the varities of players in both batting and bowling with their positions and unique skills is very challenging (also keeping in mind whether the team is batting first or chasing the runs)batters and bowlers can be left handed and right handed (bowlers can do varity of bowling movements with their fingers and also the run up with they use can be of any type (there are various technicalities here some bowlers are shoulder based bowlers and some are jump and run up etc.) Remember the ball pitches and comes and is hard to predict and the speed is too much than baseball (i know I know you will say the speed in base ball is more but actually the reality is it is always in air and the batter focuses on the ball the eye gets fixed on the ball from the release till it reaches the batter and is predictable as it always comes towards him in that limited area (box) in the air where the batter stands.)(in cricket for batters the eye contact with ball is next to impossible as the release points(of the ball)are different with different actions of the bowlers with different match situations (is the runs required too high and pitch slow or fast and fielding positions and then what is the bowlers trying to bowl or is the batter having enough hitting ability to hit the ball anywhere or hit it at a place on any bowl or both and then bowler pitches the ball and sometimes won't and during that time your eyeball tracks it towards the pitch and then when ball pitches moves and then comes towards you (eyeball focus and tracking changes)so the time to respond at that time when it pitches and comes is too less)ground dimensions decide the play too if it's small or big and type of batters and bowlers are also changes in team accordingly. Here too left handed batters and right handed are there with different roles and some who can bat any position. Openers and middle order and lower order (typically openers are the batters who can handle the ball and have highest chance to score huge runs) middle order batters are the ones who can handle ball and score runs when it's tough to bat with above average good strike rate and lower end are the ones who can score more runs in less balls (inherently they take huge risk and get better rewards) and have responsibility to take the match towards their side by scoring the target. (But it's better that openers and middle order do their work so that this situations never arises but because lower end is strong (if) then batters above them play their natural play (players can be defensive or offensive or mixed too)

Just to clear up a few things, firstly spinners move when the ball hits the ground, not in the air. There are also 'cutters', which is basically a spinner but bowled fast. Also, in Australia, batters are still called batters, not strikers but it's probably different in other countries. The range which a ball can be bowled without it being a wide (like a ball in baseball) is around a meter and a half (5 feet) wide and tall, and it can be bowled straight at you, behind you, in front of you and at various heights so there are around 15 main types of shots a batter can play.

@@anish8202This comment is dumb and let me explain why.
      1. Baseball and Cricket essentially come from the same beginning. However, historical records lean towards that Baseball (early versions of it) came first. Actually, early Baseball games are documented as having stumps and wickets as part of game play. So Cricket is a sub-topic of Baseball if you wanted to be technical….
      2. Cricket fans are really eager to point out that Cricket is more popular, but is it? Strictly speaking on playing/spectating at professional level, it’s a lot closer than you think. Although Cricket is overwhelming played by more countries overall, Baseball is played in countries that have large populations. United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan, South Korea, Dominican Republic, Venezuela (but pretty much a majority of the Caribbean and Central America). It adds up to about 2.1 Billion people. Cricket does have India and Pakistan who make up about 95% of the favoring population, but if you took all the other countries outside of those two that have a professional cricket team, their population wouldn’t even add up to just the United States alone. Prudence before justice my friend……..

In baseball, the pitcher (bowler) can make the ball change directions in the air by putting different spins on it or throwing them at different speeds! There are many different types of pitches, some straight and very fast like the 4-seam fastball, and some that are slower but curve on the way, like the curveball and the slider.
There are more seams on the ball, and the pitchers are allowed to bend their elbow when they pitch (throw) the ball.
And the batts are round because the rules say they have to be :-)
In baseball, if the pitcher throws it outside of the "strike zone" 4 times to one batter, the batter gets to move forward to first base for free (a "walk"). The strike zone is about the same size as the wicket I think.
Is there a penalty for the bowler in cricket if they miss the wicket too many times?

2:48 An over is just a set of six balls. Another name for getting someone out is a "wicket" - that is, the batsman who goes out is said to have lost their wicket and the team who gets them out is said to have taken the wicket.
