Awesome!, I paid over 10$ for a pack in the freezer at my grocery store.....tasted good but small quantity. I spent 8$ to a lady at my local Farmers market....tiny jar. Many thanks
Ah yes I’ve seen a few brands for around that price and it is such a small amount. I hope you like this one when you give it a try! You’ll definitely have a lot more!
Ah yes! We love having leftovers of this one as well. I’ve even put it in savoury crepes and on salads and even a pizza 😝 it makes me so happy to hear that it is a staple for weekend breakfasts! I love taking time to enjoy a slower morning with a meal that feels special on the weekends so it’s wonderful to hear that this recipe is one of those for you ❤️
🙌We love this💛Thank you and also for showing us Rachel Rama's original. But what I love with all your beautiful recipes in general are your experienced tips and the handy unit and scale exchanges.👍
I’m so glad you love this one! It’s stayed a favourite of ours! And if you’re ever looking for the unit exchanges and I don’t mention them, all the recipe cards on my blog have the ability to toggle between US and metric for whichever is more helpful to you! Thank you so much for watching!
@@TastyThriftyTimelyAmazing!!! My friend couldn't tell they were eating tofu! I cooked the carrots in an air fryer with tin foil on top (and a glass measuring cup to keep it weighted) and they turned out good but not nearly as good looking as yours. The seaweed was a super nice touch. My cream cheese didn't thicken up all that much but still great. I think it may be my first time trying one of your recipes so I'm for sure going to try more 😊
I’m so glad you liked it and bonus points for not being able to detect the tofu 🎉 thank you again for trying it and that’s interesting that you tried cooking the carrots in the air fryer. I don’t have one but it seems like you can do so much in them. It will be interesting if you try roasting them next time and see how much of a difference you find in how they soften. I’m glad you didn’t mind the “cream cheese” being a little softer. It’s a bit of a toss up between a really smooth spread and adding as little liquid as possible to keep it firm. If it did bug you at all you could always return it to the blender with a bit more tofu and blend it again to get a thicker texture. Enjoy any leftovers you have! I’ve even made sandwiches and savoury crepes with leftovers from this duo!
I’m glad this seems like a delicious alternative to you. I’ve heard from a few people that they don’t like fish but love this 👍🏼 the bagels I used here weren’t particularly healthy but they were sesame seed which is tasty. I try to buy whole wheat bagels for a healthier option so any brand you have near you that uses “whole grain wheat flour” instead of an “enriched wheat flour” will have more nutrition. I also have a few brands near me that sell bagels that are much thinner than a traditional bagel. I love the whole wheat versions of those for something that is a little lighter. I hope this helps! (You could enjoy something similar on sourdough or your favourite sliced seeded bread too!)
Carrots for breakfast? Weird but why not 🤣 I’m not used to that but it looks so yummy and makes me want to try it even though that I don’t like cooked carrots. Only eat it peeled lol.
Let us know if you try this fancy lox breakfast! Enjoy!
