Love it ❤. My first bike purchased while Stationed at Pease AFB early 80s . Pretty sure original owner stationed at base went on to purchase a Kawasaki H2 ... Nevertheless, I learned to respect motorcycles after I crashed it !!! Please Note : Never Ever underestimate the power of a TwoStroke !!! 😢

After more drive off the corners, I used ported F model cylinders in my tricked out super sport RD400 track bike. It was so perfect to race at Sears Point, but they blow up. The liquid cooled RZ350 was just plain better all around.

The RD400 was my "dream bike" in the late 1970s when I was a teenager. I got to ride one, but never owned one.

Awesome. I found Chuck on Craig's List when I lived in Los Gatos around 15 years ago. I had just bought a basket case 1976 RD400 and it seized on the 1st ride. When I got it back, it was like a brand new bike. I could not believe how nice it looked and how perfect it ran. I turned on a friend and my brother to Chuck, and he resto'd my Bro's Daytona. He won 1st place in the bikes show he entered it in, two years running.

Its a great bike. I bought it b/c I had a poster in my room. Parents would never let me get a bike when I was young.

Cool video Michael. Hopefully you still have this bike. I met Chuck in 2015 when he put together a small two stroke ride to Alice's restaurant. ruclips.net/video/2rozJw0AbbQ/видео.html It was a fun ride and get together.
