Dolo 650 mg is a common painkiller used to treat aches and pain. It can also be used to reduce a high temperature. It's available combined with other painkillers and anti-sickness medicines. It's also an ingredient in a wide range of cold and flu remedies.

Mode of action
Dolo 650 is thought to relieve pain by reducing the production of prostaglandins in the brain and spinal cord.
Prostaglandins are produced by the body in response to injury and certain diseases. One of their actions is to sensitize nerve endings, so that when that area is stimulated it causes pain, presumably to prevent us from causing further harm to the area. By reducing the these nerve sensitizing prostaglandins in the brain and spinal cord, it's thought Dolo 650 may increase our pain threshold, so that although the cause of the pain remains, we can feel it less.
Dolo 650 reduces fever by affecting an area of the brain that regulates our body temperature (the hypothalamic heat-regulating center).
Talk to your doctor before taking more than one medicine that contains acetaminophen. Check with your doctor right away if you or your child have pain or tenderness in the upper stomach; pale stools; dark urine; loss of appetite; nausea; unusual tiredness or weakness; or yellow eyes or skin.
Liquid products, chewable tablets, or dissolving/effervescent tablets and powders may contain sugar or aspartame. Caution is advised if you have diabetes, phenylketonuria (PKU), or any other condition that requires you to limit/avoid these substances in your diet. If you have any of these conditions, ask your doctor or pharmacist about using these products safely.

So I was wondering could I take this Tablet Dolo 650 for treatment to the Dengue? I'm having extremely headache. The normal paracip is able to reduce fever but it doesn't do anything to the head. Would you suggest to take this tablet over normal Paracetamol 500?
