Finally after all this time, we’re getting Time Machine 2. The first time I listened to the original track I was immediately hooked, at last I’ve waited to long for this.
This is just beautiful. It perfectly encompasses the original just enough to be familiar, while being a huge breath of fresh air, and an absolute joy to listen to. Amazing work Waterflame!
After Octagon Force, I didn't expect another sequel-type song. To me, this version of Time Machine really feels as if the user is venturing into a wonderful future, where humanity has solved the problems we encounter today and live peacefully, whereas the other version felt like the user was entering the past, the more dark and industrial space of the time when H.G. Wells wrote the original "Time Machine."
@silversharp omg you're right. this sounds more futuristic than the first one. maybe because it was made 12 years into the future from the original? lol
I'm currently listening to this as it's 12 days old. Meanwhile, the first song is currently 12 years old. How crazy is that? This is the greatest sequel ever made in the history of time
Yeah, however the first song is 13 years old. Came out in 2009, & now the sequel out of any time it could've been possible, it came out in 2022!... How conveniently awesome!!! 😱😁
As I loved the original song for eight years, I can say that this is the perfect sequel to that masterpiece, although shorter than the original. Thank you Waterflame, for another magnificent time travel.
To my Idol Waterflame, Time back on 2009, Time Machine was Nostalgic. But now, this Sequel is the BEST. Thank you Flamie for making my life Joyful! -Your Die Hard Fan
I really REALLY like this "steampunk time machine" vibe depicted in the art for some reason. Like, the concept of steampunk and time travel just work so inexplicably well together. Love it! + Sherlockesque dude in badass coat who is probably the scientist who invented the time machine is very cool. The art makes it seem like the machine is a wristwatch, and I dig that.
Holy shit, twelve years and a chronic addiction to rhythm games later, the king returns. Waterflame, I will never forgive you for getting me hooked on electronic music and Geometry Dash. Thanks for everything and keep making content!
I'm glad that i get to watch this live, time machine was my introduction to Waterflame songs, and possibly one of the first edm songs I've ever listened to. That song means a lot to me, and youve done the original much justice with this sequel Waterflame. Thank you.
I remembered when the first Time Machine music was uploaded 13 years ago on my birthday. Now it has finally gotten a sequel which makes it sound just as good if not better. It sounds beautiful in my ears 😌
I found my new track to play on repeat. I always listen to music when I'm doing anything, to help me focus/keep me motivated, and this has to be the most perfect balance between hyper/fast and chill/classical I've ever heard. this is my new way to pass the time... this is my time machine! thank you waterflame for the amazing sequel to my favourite classic!!!!
A masterpiece. That you make a reinvention of your classic works is like a gift in the soul for the followers who have been with you for many years. Hearing this song was like reliving the experience of hearing Time Machine for the first time. Thank you very much, Waterflame.
One of the most epic moments for Geometry Dash players, this is without a doubt very impressive, the melodies brought me several memories, now only future remakes of the songs Blast Processing and Geometrical Dominator remain, it's without a doubt an amazing job, well done as always Waterflame! ♥️
Holy shit dude, you’re the composer for one of Stick Wars most famous tracks, Field of Memories? I was literally 12 when I played that game and I’m 24 now. Your music today is modernized and still has that SAME ENERGY. Glad to see you still making such beautiful music! Cheers.
Holy frick, this is so good, I unfortunately missed the premiere but the music syncing together and the composition is ear candy, also it doesn't sound too distant from normal time machine yet does, also the wave of nostalgia at 2:32 is too good to leave out Edit: forgot to mention that the beginning reminds me of Kakyoin's theme (could be the cello)
holy crap my dude this is just absolutely amazing, an amazing spin on the origional time machine, a compleatly new song that still has the old time machine charm great job dude
My man really revolutionised his style in the past 12 years. While the original one will still have a special place in my heart, this sequel is just more studied and objectively better.
i really wouldn't say its objectively better, its a different song, the original song had a more techno-ey vibe and that is missing kinda here. you don't need to denounce art from the past to enjoy art in the future, its really insulting to older art, not everything is objectively better simply because its newer, the older time machine was only slightly less complicated
I never thought I would hear anything like this ever again, it was immediately recognizable, and I'm glad I discovered the song hidden in my mind before seeing the comments
Stereo Madness -> Stereo Madness 2 Back On Track -> Back On Track 2.0 Dry Out -> Dry Out 2.0 Base After Base -> Base After Base 2.0 Can’t Let Go -> Can’t Let Go 2.0 Jumper -> Jumper 2013 *Time Machine -> Time Machine 2* Cycles -> Cycles 2015 xStep -> yStep Clutterfunk -> Clutterfunk 2 ToE -> ToE 2 -> ToE 3 Electroman Adventures -> Electroman Adventures V2 Electrodynamix -> Thermodynamix Hexagon Force -> Octagon Force Deadlocked -> Deadlocked 1.5 Fingerbang -> Fingerbang VIP
