That kitchen sink is a deal breaker for me. But......if I got it for the right price I'd pull the stove out completly (I use a 1 burner induction anyways), get a new counter and put in a bigger sink since there appears to be plenty of room in the cabinet.

Josh: The 19R is an OK travel trailer if it wern't for that pesky slide out. When you're able please review the slideless EXPLORE 17R by Coachmen. Now there's a trailer that meets ALL the rest stop/truck stop/ crackerbarrel criteria. Respectfully, W.S.

I will happily trade a tv mount for that absolutely great glass window coverage. I normally am not a fan of slide outs, but to get that comfortable and usable interior, I will gladly go for that slide out. Campsite and front window views at just plain awesome. Then you also get great Gladys Kravitz snoopy window coverage on the road side as well. Ding ding ding -SCORE on this puppy. And you also have a rear window in the bathroom! Extra points!

Yeah, by not having a TV hook up option, you would think as a business/manufactor, you wouldn't want to limit a product to just a certain consumer, and yes it definitely needs a showermizer if you're targeting the dry camping/boondocking Campers. The Showermizer is super useful and makes the most sense.

    2) The windows are unique.
    3) Deeper sink would be better agreed. I suppose being a larger pot or tub to use to wash dishes.
    4) Glad to see a Goodyear for the spare, but can one get a matching rim?
    5) Those stairs are fine with me.

Well, as tall people age, they shrink a bit. The small bathroom & kitchen remind me of dorm life .
Based on going to college in the late '80's and living in dorms made in the 1940's, I can tell you there are so many international manufacturered items that collapse into inches, one could live the " high life " in that camper. 😊

Josh, another great review. I love the blue sofa and foot rests are a plus. I'm curious about recepticals in the kitchen area. I didn't really see any. The sink is a disappointment, but then you can always use a couple of tubs. Full size bed is OK. Raise the wardrobes and give a little nightstand top. I like the bathroom. Would rather have the retractable shower door over the curtain.I think you could tuck a small trash can in the bathroom, then pull it out while cooking. I would rather see the old school stairs that fold up under the body. Make it an optional Nike rack. All in all, a nice couple or singles camper. I'm glad to see a real bumper for poop tube storage.

Thanks Nerd! Oh, you are brilliant for including this on the heels of the monthly showing solo female RVers increasing!
Kitchen sink - The smaller size will absolutely work for some. Not a lot of room for storing kitchen stuff, usually only cooking simple meals for 1-2, and leaving dirty dishes in a small space = cluttered and have nothing to eat off of then. If someone is making a bigger batch of something in a crockpot for multiple days of leftovers, a collapsable dishpan is probably in their future.
TV - Not needed in every camper from the factory. Even if someone did full-time in this model, most likely would use a tablet, phone or computer to watch streaming. If possible, I think I would mount one of those crazy every-which-way articulating computer monitor arms on hanging wardrobe/nightstand to watch in bed.
Blue sofa - Like it without seeing true color. Blue is pretty neutral and that didn't look graish compared to other colors in the camper. In person, I bet it all comes together well.
Bathroom - Drawer not cabinet door unless the manufacturer feels since located behind the axels too much bounce will work drawer track screws out faster than the door hinge screws. Or maybe drawer face would hit door trim.
The bike rack - I am not sure. If the manufacturer gave me a choice between the bike rack in the front or the attached ladder in the back/included telescoping ladder, I would choose the ladder.

The #1 reason I wouldn’t buy this is the graphics. Waaaaay too much and over done. Seriously. It’s a Coachman, and Remote, we get it. There’s no reason to plaster every blank spot with a sticker. These are too big, too in your face, and just way too many. Chillax decal dude!
Ever put a model together as a kid and and use the remaining leftover stickers from other models on your current one? That’s this camper. No one wants a rolling billboard.
I do like the bathroom and the quality of interior detail, fit and finish. It seems really well built.

No TV. I go camping to get away from the rat race and the noise. If you need a TV, bring a small portable one or set your DVR to record what you miss. I really don't like paying for options that are useless in the grand scheme of camping out. Just like B.Y.O.B. , if you want it, you bring it.

This has everything I need. Except a bigger sink. I have a 14 inch portable TV runs about 3 hours on battery plus a big iPad if I had to hunker down inside during a rainstorm. Full size bed is plenty big for me. I’m not planning on sharing it. Grandkids are small enough to sleep on that sofa. My current RV is a class T (tent) the kids can sleep outside in that if they still want to go camping with Grandma when they get older. Curious what the price is with the solar package. Not on the website yet.

Cool camper for single camper or single with a kid or two. No TV hookup might go back to the no electronics rule, but not sure everyone would want. For me electronics is the camera on my phone. A mount point would probably be a good standard item. I do think campers should have a way of carrying bikes, while not everyone does I would say a majority does. With more and more people getting electric bikes that rack won't work. For regular bikes it's not a bad location. Not sure how easy it is to get a bike off to help scout out an area. The bathroom and travel mode is really good for the size. Kitchen sink should probably be a bit bigger.

  • @HeathInHeath
    @HeathInHeath 3 месяца назад

I do kind of like the no tv hookups. I do NOT like no open storage by the front by the bed. Full width bathroom is fantastic. Losing closet and pantry space for that is a good trade. Open storage above the bed is not a concern for me. The robe hook on the door should have finished edges on the support piece. It's at eye level and looks cheap with cut end exposed. ALWAYS prefer premium steps. These are highly adjustable and a couple of extra plywood pads is all you need to level it out.

Also, before you said anything about the steps, I took a picture of them thinking those might work far better then the MORyde ones I currently have. They have been my BIGGEST complaint and point of frustration. I carry a folding shovel because even if I drive up on levelers if the back (my door is in the back) is not just PERFECT, I have to dig out a spot for the steps so I can shut my door. I HAVE to do something soon and those look like a great swap out.

We didn’t have a TV either, but I was in my 20’s then and I sat outside at a picnic table in the pouring rain and I liked it😳now I need theater seating and a TV when it rains all weekend😂and I feel your pain because I have the exact same problem with my steps, especially when I camp off grid on uneven ground👍
