  • The rubber at the bottom of my windshield absolutely disintegrated, leaving wide gaps under the windshield - probably why I was getting more road noise than ever, it would fog pretty much in any temp variation, and the fogging was hard to get rid of even with the fan on full blast.
After A LOT of searching online, we discovered that there was no OEM replacement for just the rubber seal - we had to purchase new cowls because the rubber seal is part of the cowl replacement. And the cowl comes in 2 sections. I will say they were very hard to find (and we don't like any of the Ford service departments around us, so we didn't bother to inquire with them).
parts@lakelandfordwholesaleparts.com were super-helpful - excellent online customer service. They identified the exact OEM part numbers I needed, and had them to me within a week.
These are the part numbers: YL8Z78022A69AAA is the drivers cowl and YL8Z78022A68AAA is the passengers.Total cost with shipping was about $260.
Tools needed: 14mm socket wrench, long and short pry bars, a wiper arm puller.
Time spent replacing the cowls: about an hour
