That's really cute. Another tip u could add if u want less puff at the roots is after u twist with the brush u could twist tighter at the root with your fingers then put a clip there until it your hair dries.
Thanks for sharing. I tried endlessly to achieve this style using a comb and unfortunately I couldn’t get the hang of it. This is a game changer and I was successful at my first attempt. So happy I stumbled across this video.
I really hope you see this one day. ☺️I get nothing but compliments when I use your technique. People stop me in the streets, come up to me in restaurants and stores asking me what it is and how I do it. I just whip my phone out and show them this vid. My only tips are to apply styling products in the shower after deep conditioning. That way you can just part your hair and coil, saves a little time. Also, if you want flatter roots and longer wear, pin them down with prong clips. Thanks Curldaze aka the G.O.A.T ❤️
thanks so much for this I've tried finger coils at least a dozen times and I always end up looking like some sort of poodle but this technique actually worked! my coils came out beautiful
I love it my hair isn't that long but when its get that long am going to do that with the Denman brush also can you tell me what kind of fingers are you wearing. I love the look.
O yes honey,it does take awhile but if you pull up in #3 ponytales@ nite n sleep in silk bonnet this style will last two wks.or longer!!👍🏽👌🏽 I love em' reminds me of skinny spiral curls PRETTY!❣I freshen my curls with a little castor oil pomade n leave in conditioner (Cantu leave in daily or every two dayz!!😏
I know this is an old comment but for anyone that is wondering Now... I use this method like once a week and my curls stay ALL week with light touchups in the morning. I use Bigger sections, like 6 separate Coils on each side of my head (12 total). After leave in conditioners and oils, i use a soft gel (miss jessies jelly soft curls), take about 30 mins to do all 12 spirals in the evening, let them airdry slightly then sleep with them overnight. In the morning separate and ur done
Hi Curl Daze; I don't own a denman brush. I'm Going to Purchase one. If I take out some rows. Can I still do your Finger Coil Method? Do , You Moisturize each section before doing? Your Hair looks Gorgeous. I'm Going to try your Horse Shoe Method on Flex Rods. Also , The Ponytails Magnetic Roller Set & Your Finger Comb Method with the Denman Brush. Will, Let you know how all of them went. Thanks for all your Beautiful Styles and information on products to use and steps!💝😍😉
Do you think this style would work on 2B/2C hair. The majority of my hair is 3A/3B but I have some looser pieces around the crown that I want to be more defined
I would love to try but the only problem is, is my hair is stick straight and doesn't hold curl very well so I don't think it would work on my hair but love the idea!!!👍🏻
Hey, I have a question. I recently just big chopped without transition at a salon on Thursday. Its a twa. I just tried finger coiling didn't work the first 2 times. But I tried it with a brush and it worked but the ends of it are straight does that happen or would that be like extra relaxed hair?
I'm glad the brush worked! If you are using the brush to coil it all the way to the ends then the ends shouldn't be straight. You might still have relaxed ends.
I absolutely love this, its very beautiful. However, how can I go about achieving this look if my hair isn't even close to being that long? Lol. Any ideas, tips, or styles would be great. New subscriber!!!!

THANK YOU!! I've been having this problem!!
Makalyn Powell
u r welcome
always my problem puffy roots with two strands. i will try your tips with coils
How do you prevent puffiness in the mid section of the coil? That's a problem I have with certain ones in my hair
Nice idea💡
Never seen it done this way! Can't wait to try.
I have long hair and this method for coiling seems perfect for my hair type. Thanks for sharing this tip. Trying it out tomorrow.

What a wonderful idea with beautiful results.
Thank you!
Thank God I found you. I was wondering if I could do this on my long hair cause most videos are of short hair. Great.
thanks so much for this I've tried finger coils at least a dozen times and I always end up looking like some sort of poodle but this technique actually worked! my coils came out beautiful
Lovely! I'm impressed! Especially with the fact that you use Kinky Curly gel and it doesn't seem to flake as you used it was another product
I'm still transitioning but will try this technique in the future. Looked easy enough :). And your hair turned out very pretty.
Thank you! I hope it works for you.Good luck on your hair journey:-)

This looks like it takes forever
ik this is late but it does take forever, i did it and it took me about 4 hours but ig it was worth it and i did only use my fingers
@@alexisdillahunt2277 four hours? No mam

I have thicker 3c/4a hair so I'm afraid I'll end up with dreads instead of coils, but this is a great method anyhow.

Omg same
thats so cool omg like im going to try with my friend jamaican thank you for doing this video its very helps
Thanks for this video! Your hair looks great!!!
Really nice👍👍👍 But doesn't the brush tangle at any minute?
no
Kayla Elder I would assume so though...
Yana Lynne It doesn't because of the type of bristles that are on the brush
why would it tangle? she's not wrapping the hair around the brush. she's combing through the hair in a twisting motion.
clariola exactly
Wow what a cool method! thanks for the tips
How do you separate the curls after this technique?
I love this style, I have to try it.
i can't do it, the brush or comb will get stuck or either my coils will come it.
I have to try this! Somehow finger coiling doesn’t work out for me. 🤷🏻♀️
Thanks for this informative tutorial! I was sure to hurry and hit that subscribe button. Be blessed!

Yo hair looks so good what's your hair type
Does this work on 4c hair though?
How long do the curls last
I use a comb
Won't using a brush twisting like that tangle your hair?
Gloria Jones the type of brush she used shouldn't tangle you're hair.
This method requires long hair my hair is the length of yours when its stretched out so I might need to stick to using my fingers
Did you go to UNT? You favor someone name Chacarelle (typo on name)
what products do you use name of them please
Omg yes!!!! Can't wait to try this!!!! New subbie lol
Thank you!
