My number one moisturising milky toner is the About Me -Rice Makgeolli Skin Softener❤ I'm surprised that it's not more hyped (although thankful as well as it stays in stock haha) cause not only is it affordable but the ingredients are just spot on...i mean it has the same meadowfoam seed oil as Laneige but on top of that five different ceramides, cholesterol, rice bran oil & A LOT OF fermented rice, galactomyces ferment to name a few highlights. And no fragrance, drying alcohol or esseantial oils... It leaves my skin so hydrated, nourished and glowy thanks to all that rice content😍 Definitely gonna repurchase.
Kelly have you tried this?? If not then i strongly recommend🥰

Omgggg I have never heard anyone else even mention this product!!! It's my favourite toner ever, so underrated. It completes Kelly's holy trinity haha (ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids) and so it saved my skin this winter when I was on prescription drugs for my acne. I think it's even better than the other milky toners I've tried, which are Dr. Ceuracle's Kombucha Tea Essence, I'm From's Rice Toner, and TirTir's Milk Skin.

I have used Dr. C ever since you introduced it to me about 3 years ago. I have to say, it would take a lot to knock it out out of my top spot. I use it year round
on my almost 80 year old skin and realy enjoy patting it in every morning. I don't, however use a stand alone moisturizer too, until winter kicks in here in Michigan.

I have tried it and fell in love with nrw formulation. I live in India and for my climate it's a blessing. I loved Orginal version. Was using it for long time. But new version is cooling and calming for my skin. Less oily and calms my irritation due to perioral dermatitis triggers. Originalversion was still in my hand. But new is right balance of hydration and moisture. Try it you love it.

Aestura is one of my favourite brands after a Japanese RUclipsr recommended it. I had repurchased the Laniege mist form many times, but also used the Aestura one. Others I found similar were B Labs which seem to ve discontinued, and Dr Jarts Ceramide cream mist.

For me I loved the new laneige formula more. It's very hydrating than the old one with the same finish but it doesn't have the greasy finish like the old one (even though I have no problem with the greasinesssince my skin type is dry) even i was worried when i saw some reviews about the new formula but see for yourself. For me i simply loved it!

Hi Kelly I LOVED the original cream skin refiner and thankfully still have a bottle for this Winter. The mist version wasn’t as moisturising for some reason for me. I tried the Dr Ceuracle and had a reaction to it so it’s not a replacement for me. I tried the Mary and May biphase essence and whilst I like it as a product it’s not a replacement either. The isntree cleanser in that yam line caused a reaction on my skin, so I’m wary of the toner tbh. What I have found that gives me a very similar effect on my skin is the jin jung sung omega “serum” in a 150ml bottle- same size as the cream refiner and around the same price. It’s a different product and texture but it gives me a very similar amount of hydration and moisture to my skin. So far this will be my replacement going forward. It pairs very well with my other products as well as their excellent essence for a real hit of extra hydration. I always used the cream skin alongside watery toners/essences anyway to seal them in and boost the moisture for my super dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin. Best wishes x

I tried a travel size of the Laneige ( newer formula ) and I don't get the hype 🤷‍♀️ My skin can be on the drier side so I thought for sure my skin would love this but....nope lol It was really sticky/tacky, it felt heavy on my skin and it sat on my skin. I had to wash it off, it made my skin feel yucky. But that Dr. Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence 🍵 O M G ❤❤❤ it took me forever to try this, for some reason I kept thinking it would be oily but boy was I wrong!!! It gives my skin a healthy glow. It's not oily, greasy or heavy whatsoever. It's the most unique product I've ever experienced and I say that is the best way. It goes on feeling so incredibly hydrating and when it dries, it has a moisturizing feel to it. It's such a lovely product. I will always have a backup, I will never go without !!!!! I highly recommend it. I do believe you can get a mini set of the essence and gel cream on Amazon. For those who want to try but not commit to the full size. A bottle of this lasts months.

Thank you for this video, Kelly!! I'm always looking for something similar to the original Laneige cream skin toner. The new formulation is so much less moisturizing, and since they added hyaluronic acid to it, it irritates my skin and burns my eyes now. I would love to try the Dr. Ceuracle even though that one has hyaluronic acid. I'm also really interested to see if the Rhode Skin Glazing Milk is similar, because it looks so similar. Although it isn't Korean. I thought the Purito Oat In Silky Toner would be almost the same because the ingredients are so similar to the original Laneige cream skin, but for some reason it was SO irritating to my skin and eyes. I wonder if I could be senstive to oat ingredients, because that seems to be the biggest difference between the two!

Thank you Kelly this video couldn't have come at a better time! I finished my very last bottle of Laneige cream skin a few weeks ago and just started using Dr Ceuracle and found it richer than Laneige. It was soothing but just a tad too rich as I'm heading into summer weather soon. I was expecting to love D/C the same way I loved Laneige upon first application but I'm not sure if it can replace my love for cream skin. I will definitely pick up a bottle of Isntree yam root in the near future! I'm still lowkey very sad about the cream skin product change/replacement ... it was such a perfect product for me T_T
