My 3 rebuys, $21 to $31, are Old Grand-Dad 100 proof, Early Times 100 proof blue top, and 90 proof Bernheim Original Wheat Whiskey aged 7 years. These make me feel the best after 2 shots for the next few hours and the next morning, at 65 years old.
LOL --- 3 out of your 5 are on my list. Totally agree with Heaven Hill BiB, James E Pepper Decanter, and Green River Would add: Eagle Rare and Barrell Bourbon Foundations. Cheers!
Green river - I have had the regular and wheated, but not the Full Proof. I thought those two were just ok, not buying again. Will look for the Bardstown.
Great list! I love green river but if I had to gift a fp might be 1792 or Russell’s sb - both in the price range, can get 1792 for $45 in my area (California), beautiful bottle (1792); and absolutely love the profile. Thanks for the vid!
The James E Pepper is great as is the Green River Full proof. Personally, I prefer the rye mash bill of the Bardstown Origin Series even though it’s lower proof. I find the Heaven Hill 7 year BIB good, but a touch to the bland side. I’m currently boycotting Wild Turkey as Campari has jacked up prices so drastically in an obvious money grab. Great video overall.
Any single barrel rye or bourbon from Driftless Glen, Knob Creek 9 single barrel reserve, Old Forester 1910 or 1920, WT Rare breed, and for Irish, John’s Lane or Redbreast 12 Cask strength. Finished bourbon and ryes would be a long list. Great video
Will not debate a single one of those!!! Excellent choices all. For budget I’d take regular ole Buffalo Trace over WT 101 but that’s just my preference.
Random question... were you at 4 roses today for the LE? I thought I saw you but after the check out line, I couldn't find ya in line but wanted to say hi.
Yep I was there yesterday morning! Sorry we didn’t get to connect. I was wearing a hat so probably not as easy to tell it was me. But I’ll be cracking the bottle and reviewing it soon so stay tuned!
Those are good recommendations with the exception of WT101. I feel like it doesn't need to be recommended. It's a household name. I'd recommend Woodford d.o. instead of WT101.
Great choices. I recommend the Knob Creek 120pf single barrel picks.
Nice video and Bourbon choices - and Go Irish!!!
I recommend JW Dant BIB because for me it’s a solid drinker that is not expensive at all.

Need to get your hands on some JT Meleck. It’s 100% rice whiskey out of Louisiana. It’s fantastic.

That barrel foundation is amazing also considering the other bottles go for 90 plus.
Still Austin red corn and the blue corn are some of my favorites when available!

Will look for the Bardstown.
the bottle hiding behind you looked like an A Smith Bowman in low light! the John J Bowman is what i was seeing, definitely one of my favorites
Couldn't agree more with your comments about Heaven Hill.

Nice choice’s! HH 7yr is really nice and it’s at my local Sam’s for 32.00 bucks! Bardstown Origin Rye!
Rare Breed gives the HH BIB a run for the money. Cheers..

Solid choices, especially the Green River and James E. Pepper. Plus with the Pepper you get that beautiful decanter bottle.
I like the James e pepper but it's a touch youthful for me
Great recommendations. The new Bardstown Origin Series 106 proof wheater is amazingly good. Not sure if you’ve had it yet.
Great choices bro
All classic bourbon notes all 5 bottles
Good picks, with the exception of Bardstown. But that's my personal taste.

Great list. I prefer the origins white label.
All good! I have all of those.
Spot on!
Pepper store picks are better than James e Pepper for me. The second one is New Riff store picks.
James E Pepper is so good
Still waiting for the Bardstown to be released in my state.
Kentucky Spirit. CN-E or CN-F
Bardstown BIB so delicious 🥃

Brave man still wearing that ND shirt 😂
Filmed this before that horrible loss haha. Tough time to be an ND fan.
Awesome bottles! 🥃
Sorry had to give you a thumbs down for the ND shirt. JK 😂
