@ 8:25, I have heard it called a trailing edge too. I have one. It is the only Eklipse I have. Now I want this one too. I do not need another knife, I do not need another knife. Downright thorough video sir.
Watching some old videos on this lazy labor day. My gen 2 eklipse is still one of my favorite knives, the ti lock interface and simplicity of the backspacers and pivot are just classic for me. Hope you're having a good holiday MC
Now that Hinderer released the Tri-Way pivot, I’m waiting for the Eklipse Gen 3 to drop with the lockbar insert and the new bearings before going in. Love the model to death though.
Oh cool, another Hinderer knife that will never be in stock. I hear he partnered with ZT to do a production version, the 0562 I think it is, and its about half the price.
The days of Hinderers being "out of stock" are LONG over. That ended in 2014-2015. You can literally find them almost anywhere. And yes... the ZT 0562 that was announced somewhere around 2013 is a production version of the XM 18. It used to be widely considered the better knife... but that was a long time ago. Most Hinderers have all been updated with the tri way pivot system along with many other improvements. The ZT is still good, but the true Hinderer is superior. IMO worth the extra money. You'll find that statement largely echoed throughout the knife community.

Get ready for some drops next week.

You and me both! A gen 3 Eklipse is definitely on my list. Can't wait!
Happened a couple weeks ago 😆
My favorite knife. Think I even prefer having Gen 2 over a TriWay.
You do a really good review. Thanks for the effort.
You need more subs/views. Your videos are good!
Thank you! Glad you're enjoying them!
