It's been 13 years and i still play it at ease like it's a muscle memory. I wish i learned more at that age but now im back to playing again and starting from the beginning. Actually the name isn't Elise. Beethoven's handwriting wasn't legible enough. The name was actually Therese. So the song should actually be named Für Therese.
Für Elise is actually Latin for "For" cause For or Fer,Faer,Fuor or etc. Then Elise is a name. Maybe that is Betthoven's wife of cousin or mom-in-law or etc. So "Für Elise" means "For Elise"
