adding a clear bleeding tube with a proper adapter to return hose will def. make it easier for the flush, just an idea, thanks for the video, will do this on my -11 merc.
I believe it is suppose to be Yellow in climates where it doesn't reach sub zero temperatures. Im in Canada so the Green was the specification required for my VIN
I'm confused here as well. According to the info I googled, should be the 236.3 yellow. But lot of ppl are also saying only ch11s can be used. I'm about to do a flush on mine car but can't decide which one to buy God damn.
@@jangalabov3 236.3 yellow is not fully synthetic, but the ch11s is. So if you change you really have to flush it very good. I have put the 236.3 yellow and the steering is super good now.
The reservoir tank also contains a filter and should be replaced as well.

Nice work. My only suggestion is to replace the reservoir while you are doing this work since the reservoir contains a non-replaceable filter.

Original fluid in many places is clear yellow ...MB spec 236.3 .
Green is for extreme cold ,,,sub freezing areas.

no till year 2000 is yellow 236.3 After year 2000 is spec. 345.0 with pentosine(green colour)
@@joesaric1 It depends what country you are in. I know for a fact that cars after 2000 are yellow 236.3 in Australia for example.
What do i do if the old fluid is glittery? Do i need to replace the pump or just replace the fluid
