no he could have killed the hamster in the maze he clearly just bought the hamster for money he needs to do research for example the little foam balls if the hamster would have eaten one, he would have choaked and a lot of the moving pieces could have crushed him hamster's bodies are very fragile, and hamsters sleep in the day so waking it up would just doing the squid game but at three am I know that there is a lot misinformation out there but if he would have done a couple google searches he would have known that this is very dangerous for hamsters.
