Hi there, Why don't you do an episode on the explosion in Aley that injured Akram Chehayebs niece, leaving her blind in one eye. Her uncle shut down the investigation and they arrested the owners of the house who were also victims and US citizens. April 11, 2001. I'm writing a book about it.
I Honestly prefer this "studio" more than the other one. It feels so bright and cosy. The natural light and the colors makes it so warm, im aware this set was an exception but maybe this would be a nice "update" for season 3?
انا كويتيه وامي لبنانيه وجداً استمتع لما اشوفكم واسمع اللي تقولونه وبنفس الوقت احس بالانتماااء واني بينكم ومعاكم، go ahead and always remember that we are with you and waiting to hear your sarda 💙💙
I am not Lebanese but I relate a lot to you guys. You guys rock. Just a side note if you Mouin ever find yourself in Finland I would love to have a pint with you. Cheers.
I can totally relate to “ leaving is not an option” topic, i’m based in a city my mother is in a different country my father is far as well , that anguish and mix of feelings that you have to leave to get the degree/money but you’re still torn from inside cause of the family you’re leaving behind. Very nice episode btw 👏🏻👏🏻
Such a beautiful صبحية. I left the homeland in 1984 to make a life.. immigrating was and still is difficult. One is a stranger outside and becomes a stranger in the homeland when one returns.. not welcome in any place..the new nomad in search of a homeland. The other sad part is, here we are in the 21 Century, and after so many wars and tragedies in Lebanon, دق المي..مي… Males _Not men_ are still idiots .. politicians and their great grand children are carrying on the family tradition..and no lessons learned. How is it they are still in power? 😒
Okay seriously now you're making me watch every single ad, also I don't know how or who control the ads but it always seems like they put them where it is an exciting moment to hear what's the answer or what's going on unconsciously I can't wait and my finger goes to skip so now I learned not to and be patient and wait ❤️❤️❤️❤️
As an expat, I know we're lucky to live abroad but it never feels like home. We've been uprooted from our country, our families have been ripped apart, we lost our long life friends. We had to leave because we had no other choice. From the day we left lebanon, nothing mattered anymore. We're physically abroad but mentally we're in beirut
Kudos to Mouin for mentioning Pr. Huberman ! You gotta love it when your favourite podcasters reference each other ☺️ i have a loose goal of watching both all of your and his episodes !
You guys are amazing! Love your podcast! All the way from California ❤ learning so much from the different guests you’re hosting also getting to know new talents! Keep doing what you’re doing! 🎉👏🏻

Sadly, this is very true and reflective of all the Arabic world... It is so sad that you work hard to make sure that your children leave albalad… When you are abroad, you are lucky! 😢

I Honestly prefer this "studio" more than the other one. It feels so bright and cosy. The natural light and the colors makes it so warm, im aware this set was an exception but maybe this would be a nice "update" for season 3?
