I have studied classical piano for 13 years. When I was studying, my teacher even asked me not to play pop songs. They thought it was wrong. But it was only when I was in college that I found that jazz music was my favorite thing in my soul. Now I am studying it hard. In China, Most parents ask their children to learn piano just to make them feel better than other children. This kind of environment worries me most. After watching your video, I agree with you. We play it because we love music. Thank you for sharing!
No matter what kind of music.
You got talent for playing very well.
We love music and you know what we need.
Thank you Sangah.
Thank you, thank you! (And lots of heart emojis.) This is a masterclass. Especially when there is so little social interaction, I need to hear other musicians talk about their approach, their goals, their love of sound.
This is one of the first videos of Sangah Noona I saw. First were the two great Beatles albums, then this one and that drew me fully into Sangah World! To hear these explanations and the way they are given is so interesting and fun at the same time. It shows Sangah's great personality and why we love music: it fills us with fun!
Love your personality Sangah! Your humour is just out of this world 😂
WOW! Speechless!! ❤👍😉
He's right. Your charisma and talent in conveying fun and being entertaining is immense. And that's before we get to your musical talent. You could be a broadcasting professional.
Yeah - the John and Yoko re-enactment was priceless. Very funny. Add that to the wonderful insight into the music and your offerings are truly great.
Sangah as a teacher you are most likely turn out as a serious virtuoso
@@SangahNoona
Wow! Priceless... (You...)
it's not a tutorial ... it's a Master class ....
WOW!!! You Ernesto have never disappointed me! ❤👍😉
Amen, Ernesto. 👍
Your humor and creatively go hand and hand with music. Your energy and positive outlook to promote an individual style and learning is inspirational. When your soul is easily seen in creating music your face lights up with that look in your eyes and engaging smile. Its a joy to listen to you and learn. Thanks!
What can I say? I love you and your way to show us your heart-related music
I can sing but don't play any instrument yet still found this fascinating, thanks again Noona Moona Songata
Haha I like that! Noona Moona Songata ❤😉👍
The more I watch your videos, the more I wish I have had a piano teacher like you! :-) ... Not just the music and playing, your sense of humor is delightful... never a boring lesson! 😉
I'm honored to hear that Paulo! ❤😉👍
You are great , your music is every day on here to create beautiful music in my house , THANKS Sangah
Thank you Sangah.
It is a real pleasure to hear from you. You make music fun as you do yourself when you play the piano. I have never been a lover of the beatles, but I am a lover of the music you make with their music. I really love you! So now listen to your advice, it's a true wonder ... Thank you great artist!
Oh darling! This is a Masterclass. Marvelous. You truly know what you want. That's the way I love to do on my cover bands. Thank U!!
I would want you to be my teacher so much :( The way you put the ideas very smooth is another level. Thanks!
Thank you Sangah for sharing your knowledge about the story behind "because" I admire your passion of what you do as a musician and a great artist. Keep up a good work. I really enjoy your RUclips channel👍👍👍👍👍💐❣❤🎶🎼💃🕺
Love your sense of humor!!! Just halirious!! Also thank you for making this video .
I've heard that Because is based on Sonata No. 14 but listening to them both I couldn't see how very much and that bothered me. These two videos were the perfect medicine for that so thanks!
I don't care too much about being the winner or being better than so and so, but I do care about finding my own voice through an interpretation. Therefore your video is more precious in that regard than just going over " sheet " music notes or plunking away at this or that chord. Many years ago I used to listen to Glenn Gould on his T.V. program interpreting J.S.Bach on piano and he would often talk about his methodology. Paraphrasing: Glenn said " In the beginning written sheet music contained sparse information and as such serious classical musicians had to sometimes experiment with tempos, dynamics, accents, moods and other subtleties." Although we have recordings in this day and age to refer to, we must nevertheless dive into the music beyond written notes and re-arrange music to suit our temperaments. Miss Noona, I feel you possess this time honoured ability to do this. Technique is a means and not an end in itself. Extremely insightful video and keep smiling.
Thank you, Sangah Noona for all your inspiring videos. You are breath of fresh air; your spontaneity, sheer talent combined with your ability to communicate with your heart. You inspire me to continue playing the piano, explore music and enjoy it. You are a winner with your infectious enthusiasm and positive energy. So, thank you so much again and God bless you, always. Best regards, Arnold (Melbourne, Australia).
You’re awesome Arnold! Thank you! ❤️👍🏻😉
I go about my covers the same way.... I try to color them up as much as possible without losing the melody line. My tempo varies, but that's what feeling the music does.
I am just in awe of you and your mesmerizing videos, Sangah. Absolutely entertaining, educational and so well produced! You as talented as you are beautiful, your playing is so effortless. Gosh, I'm gushing... but what the heck, you are an amazing musician and your videos are as well done as most I have seen. Please continue this wonderful channel, and providing your viewers with such exceptional content. Keep up the great work, and thank you for sharing your amazing talents!
WOW!! Rick!!!!! You just made my day!! Thank you so much for your awesome encouragement!! Through your compliment, I can tell how you are talented!! ❤😉👍
@@SangahNoona, you make my day, too! But I must confess, I have never studied piano... but I am a guitar player for decades. I am simply one who appreciates talent and beautiful piano playing and amazing arrangements! I am also a lifelong Beatles fan, and your covers are exquisite and much appreciated!
Thank you SO MUCH! It's fascinating to see and learn how you approach such pieces.
Thanks Sangah ... I enjoy listening to your creative thought process. You are awesomely inspiring!

one can simplely falls in love with beautiful music and the beauty playing the same
Sangah, as a simple minded, non pianist, non musician, much of this was beyond me, and yet I found it very interesting and very entertaining!! I loved your use of humor (and Bubuji ) to explain and get your points across. All in all, another great video, thanks for brightening my Saturday morning!!!
Mark, that's why I call you are amazing! As you mentioned, you are not a musician, but you still appreciate good arts, and have a great sense in music! I always appreciate your support Mark! ❤👍😉
I always enjoying what you play Sangah, nice to hear
Thank you ! You feel music and make it feel to the audience
I was looking up my actual search history today for something that I forgot about in Late December/Early November, and it says this is the first Beatles video that I watched unless I saw something earlier. This isn't actually the first one I saw, it was actually the one about recording piano with a phone!
You are amazing, thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience
My dear lovely lady your more than good enough your a genius at what you do and I know from being a singer when I sing harmonies to a tune I might not even know the tune at the start but sure enough the harmonies will just flow
I agree with all your beautiful sentiments about the music and I just so love the beautiful seamless transition from one song to the other
It takes a genius to do that and your so apt at being able to seamlessly traverse the contours of the song your playing without any woodenness by that I mean you can certainly tell when a player is just reading the written music because it lacks lustre it lacks life
You put your own life into someone else’s music that transitions a lovely song into a majestic beautiful song
Words are so hard to convey but if you know the ice skaters Torvil and Dean they did together on ice what you do on the piano
So so hard to find it truly is
Bless you my love bless you
Thanks to your inspiration, I've recently taken up a private jazz piano class. I always enjoy watching your video. Thank you!
j'aime votre philosophie, votre vision du monde/I love your philosophy, your "Weltanschauung"(vision of the world)

It's a Blessing that, after three decades of playing guitar, I have always been too technically inept to play any music exactly note-for-note. What that has inevitably led me to is primarily composing and performing my own music. "Limitation is the essence of style." ~ Chuck Muldoon

Thank you for sharing this, it was very interesting to learn a little about how this song was conceived, I think I had heard before the story about Lennon and the Moonlight sonata, but I didn't remember well the details nor even which Beatles song it was about.
It was also great to get some insight into your approach to doing this cover (especially when presented with your sense of humor and uplifting attitude), it's always a fascinating thing to learn what's behind the scenes of a work of art, you really did a wonderful job with this song!

Sangah, such a well-spoken and talented lady! Thanks so much for this wonderful and in-depth analysis. Brilliant! I loved the Beatles so much and "Because" is one of their very best. Great info about John being inspired by Yoko playing, "The Moonlight Sonata"! I still remember the first moment I heard and became aware of The Beatles when I was just 4 years old and because I was obsessed with music from that age, I remember it so well. I was in the car with my parents and heard Penny Lane come on the radio. From that day, I enjoyed it and loved watching their music evolve. I used to play some of their sheet music, too, but today love to improvise. My parents would play their music on our console stereo and dance in the living room, too....ah the good old days. You have evoked these memories. Now I need to go back and actually listen to "Because" and can't wait to lend my impressions now :-) Thanks again for sharing your wonderful musicianship! ~Jackie
Jackie! You are awesome! ❤😉👍
Very nice video, I love the piano. In the past, composer played just to express their feelings....now we seem to spent to much time 'studiyng' , 'analyse '.... You are very gifted, and I hope you continue to play...the way you feel. Bravo and thanks for sharing
I totally agree with you!! During school time many people lose the real meaning of music since they only STUDY music. Sad...
Anyway, thank you for your kind words! ❤️👍🏻😉
Oh, I am so happy that you did not take it as a critic, thank you.
For me, ' Sangah Noona ( sounds like 'elder sister' in korean)...just asking as I lived many years in Korea. But I may be wrong. And if I am wrong, accept my appology. Greetings from France

What???? A musical genius that can dissect the music of the great composers as-well as the music by The Beatles too??? Impressive! Well, all I can say is, that whatever money or sacrifice (which I am sure were many) were made for you to achieve your musical education, were totally worth it.

So you talk about both genius musicians at about 12 minutes in. In my opinion, there were three genius musicians contributing to this video. I love listening to these types of videos. I can't play a note, but it's interesting anyway.
Sublime quality. In the music AND production standard. The Yoko Lennon recreation glorious and charming and funny to see.
You've probably read it already but if not check out Geoff Emerick's book Here There And Everywhere and his detailed account of how they recorded the harmonies to Because.
Hello Sangah, very nice video! I have learned a lot! In this song, I like a lot the Beatles original vocal harmony! Could it be a subject for another video to explain the vocal harmony used in.this song?
Sangah, better not tell us everything...... hahahaha that was really great. Thanks for your thoughts .. and yes you are right. It does not matter how good or how bad someone plays, but what it means to him or her. When I was a student, I was not always well prepaired for my lesson. ..One day my teacher told me .. come on lets play better soccer today.. because you should go out positively from this lesson and your perormance is really bad today! .... next week I was much better:-) :-) :-)
Hahaha! When I was a student, I also wasn't prepared for my lessons. My teacher said, get out. Go home. I was better in the next lesson. Your teacher was much nicer than mine! ❤👍😉

Hey! Sanga,,,, You Just Helped Me Realize Something,,,,,,,, I'm A Winner!!
I totally agree with you, playing something exactly as the original is boring. I see so many musicians that play perfectly but if that’s what I wanted, I would listen to the original. I would much rather here someone’s own interpretation and what’s coming from their soul. Another amazing video Professor Sangah! 🐶😍🎃👻😈👽🤗
