Top fighting technique vs that first GT... but I'm beginning to think that they aren't actually as "tough", pound for pound, as our Atlantic Jack Crevalle (reputations aside). GT's run harder, but our Crevalle are extremely proficient at fighting sideways, and rarely (and briefly) ever letting themselves get turned all the way. (Not that THAT is the most interesting thing to fight... but, it is an interesting difference between similar looking fish.)
They sure can pull but I’m thinking the same thing here … if you get them to bite at the start of chase they pull like freight train ! However if they exert the energy to chase down a lure I’m saying they build up lactic acid & it burns em out very fast !! Very interesting fact
